. But I'm afraid I've been a little occupied with other stuff in the last week, including quite a lot of time spent with potential new devs for the team. Maz & Kieren have had to spend a lot of time on recruitment stuff too - it means we've not spent much time devving this week, so you don't get as much as you'd want in today's update, but in the longer term getting that extra dev into the team will help us deliver more in future. So I hope you'll find it worth the wait.

Would that include giving is the game you promised in the original poll, before ignoring it and giving us this.

Now you can have different things happening in different worlds, and your quite happy having low populated worlds (there's 80 people in Deadman 345 and 74 in 337) now would be the time to offer a world to us.

It would show that your willing to cater to all your members, and of course honour the original poll.

If a world with 74 is acceptable I don't see why it would be a problem.

Oh and not splitting the community excuse is also outdates, what with Ironman, hardcore ironman, deadman etc.

They can't 'afford' to do that Lib.. it would make them look bad if a world with no updates ended up the most populated world and they honestly can't afford the embarrassment that would bring.

173 on world 37 few less on the dead man world. Only 5 worlds over half full. Wouldn't it be better for them to have members actually paying to play, rather than us not paying.
thinks Jagex should honour the results of the original Old School Poll

Certainly it would. But.. at what cost? If they are openly displaying that there is a large amount of peeps not interested in their updates.. makes them look bad and that lvl of embarrassment seems could be pretty high.

Don't get me wrong Librarian, I fully support them offering what we got the votes for.. a game with no updates.. no dev team.. well, you know.

I just don't see them being willing to suffer the ridicule that would surely follow. The embarrassment of a fair few willing to start over and wanting no updates would make them look like every update they've done was nothing more than what the company wanted.

It isn't about them being willing to cater to ALL of their players.. they've shown time and again that their interest is in catering to the largest and/or the loudest (and honestly, most of us who wanted the game we got the votes for.. a stagnant server.. are already gone anyway).

Sure, one would think that it would be more beneficial for them to receive funds from people who don't currently pay.. but they also need to look at how the general populous (gamers as an entire group) would view them as devs..

They aren't looking for 'cornering markets' now (and they once did corner the market). What they appear to be looking for is the fastest cash, from the most amount of people, for the most amount of time possible.

We all know the 'final' result I'm afraid. So maybe it wouldn't be better for them to get money from a few hundred/thousand if the trade off was the rest of the gaming world looking down on them forever.

thanks for further boosting range :/
HOW ABOUT SOME MAGIC UPDATES?
range was not only already OP in OSRS but is now just unfair!
Please if your going to add another mineral add along the armor and or magic use of it!!
Not solely singling out and only being useful for range!
I h8 the new mineral amethyst ! get rid of it or add uses for the other two classes

I feel like you're really embracing a 'victim' mentality.

I'd kindly remind you that the OSRS team is small in capacity and resource, so I'd urge you to give them some grace.

As indicated, they're working towards recruiting more developers which would ultimately lead to better results for the entire community.

Who would i speak to about buying the new mining glove?

My guess would be as below;

Mining gloves are a pair of gloves purchased from Belona's shop, Mining Guild Mineral Exchange, for 60 unidentified minerals.

Start there, and let us know? :)

If obtaining ore and coal is quicker and easier by other methods rather than mining then perhaps the problem lies in the other methods. This update boosts mining too much, it's almost insulting. It's like we're being treated like helpless infants.
