Actually I agree with you, void along with the other topics of the previous update needed changing. I agree that regular void should be at the flat 10% damage and accuracy which it currently is. I was simply asking if the elite version could have slightly more benefits to it as currently the only elite thing about it is 6+ prayer

Hello. I was pondering the possible balancing to void (specifically mage set) last night, so I have some thoughts on what you could do to improve it.

Although firstly, I think that elite void melee should get the 12.5% buff to match the elite void ranged set. seems inconsistent that only one set had the buff as opposed to the other 2.

Anyway, BiS mage armour for gloves, legs, torso and head consists of tormented bracelet and full ancestral. Together these have a +11% magic attack bonus. The main problem with void is it offers a percentage increase with no magic attack bonuses, making it easily redundant. I would suggest either one of the following;

1. Give the elite void mage set a damage bonus of 5% (7.5%) Bonus for void (elite void), or possibly a 7.5% (10%) bonus, and reduce the magic accuracy bonus down to 10-20%. This should not devalue ancestral as bis as ancestral + bracelet come with a significant magic accuracy bonus which void does not (+79 to be exact).

2. Instead of giving the void set a damage bonus, you could remove the 30% accuracy bonus and give it a flat set bonus instead. Something like +50 (+70 for elite) Magic attack bonus when wearing the full set.

I haven't worked out the calculations for these sets compared to the current mage gear we have. So the numbers can be altered slightly if you think the numbers i've given are slightly under/overpowered. However I think my suggestion is a reasonable starting point for the direction you could take with elite void.

These updates is nothing but good and correctly done by Jagex.

Was more #Voidscape than anything else. And if armor is gonna be overpowered there should atleast be some hard requirements to equipment it.

Me personally would enjoy if void etc would be lost on death in pvp like it was in the ''old days''. But this is perfectly fine and reasonable, and i don't see why people would complain about this, please try to be a little realistic at least.

And to the new updates with Serp helm along with zulrah is also perfect. Great job! :)

Just a shame it took so long.

Only thing i would like now is to have more space in my bank. Just a suggestion, why don't make it 800 to start with as a level 3, and for every second combat level you gain you get 1 extra bank space. Or something similar. Well, have a lovely day! Cheers!

You've asked for suggestions on things like magic void and fishing sharks but you have adjusted Serpentine helm to something you feel fits the game but the community is rather divided on.

The Serpentine helm was useful for Saradomin and Bandos solo's and the changes that have been proposed change nothing in this regard. Some people consider the Serpentine to be OP at these places and I can assure you the same number of kills are attainable with a Verac's helmet, the use for Serpentine is to kill the minions within enough time.

How long must the community that reaches out with suggestions be ignored in place of Reddit?

Just because Twitter has a 140 character limit and people write an entire thesis on Reddit doesn't automatically qualify them as experts to direct the game in the way they believe it should be taken; furthermore this change was made after a single day of arguable no deliberation. Elite Void range seems a suitable change but the Serpentine helmet fix sounds more like a rushed move in order to quiet the Runescape mob that was rioting in W2 with their Dwarf Cannons and retribution prayers than actually hearing the voices of the players and fixing those issues at hand.

I am actually quitting my ironman. I have got an ironman who is at his start of getting to Godwars Dungeon for gear. As it is hard for ironman, and can be really tedious to get the armour sets you really want, it is now finalized to never get it without getting crashed. Zulrah used to be one of the great moneymaking methods for players topping all of the godwarsdungeon bosses. Now people will just run into Godwarsdungeon and crash all of the ironmen in there to make money. Really nice Jagex, really nice. Will be quitting ironman until an update comes out for private rooms or some shit, this update made me sick really.

no reason to buff void mage. We have ancestral for that.
