So far it seems people are mostly opposed to offline trading.
Remove the feature to trade offline and I could see this project being a success.
I want offline selling and online buying, so you can only buy while you're online.

That's the problem though, merchers will make mass profit selling stuff offline while not in the game. I don't want that at any cost.

The new Auction House sounds good. Its something I have wanted for a long time. I hope we can get something similar in EOC as well, since I play both OSRS and EOC.

I think it is important to have a price each as well as a total price for all the items.

I would like there to be an option for friends only sales also, so only people on my friend's list or approved by me could bid. If that is not possible I understand.

Maybe this system could also be used to transfer wealth to our other accounts, now that wealth transfer of items legitimately earned is being allowed according to the responses by Mod Balance in this thread I made.

Only if theres demand for the items at the price they're selling. And if theres demand for items at the price they're selling then why would you want to block the consumers from purchasing these items? It seems more beneficial to me to allow goods to move more freely through the economy than set up these silly barriers that just clog everything up.

QUICK QUESTION! NOT ANSWERED IN OP!

If I want to buy say 250 Whips for 1400k ea and someone is selling 1k whips for 1400k each and he is the lowest priced seller, will I be able to buy 250 of his whips for 1400k and then he be left with 750 he still needs to sell? If not don't bother putting this in.

The interface of the buy and sell is identical to that of the Grand exchange. This change is too big and too alike the GE.

If a buyer is wanting 500 lobs but there are only 1k offers he can either:
1.) add the seller and ask to buy less. (player interaction!)
or
2.) post his offer on the Auction House for 500 lobs and see if he either gets a pm from a seller or if a new offer will appear selling 500 lobs.

This is what I'd love to see ^

stop ruining the game. it is awesome as it is now.. and people who get scammed are people who dont pay attention and blaim others than them self...

Looks okay, only question I have for now is, If I'm buying something, do I get to pick how many I buy? Or do I HAVE to buy everything the seller is selling?

That is where the engagement between players which is so important to our community comes in. If you want to buy just part of an offer, you can easily contact the other player and do some negotiating.
