It's stupid. Real stupid. Feels like you guys gave up on something that could have been hilarious, 'cause the ending feels...tacked on? I get that it's a holiday event and I probably shouldn't take it seriously. I wouldn't say it's a complete fuckup either, but I just don't think it's that great.

Tbh i'm gonna have to agree, and
not just because we share 1337 titles which no other mortal is allowed to own.
Same could be said for the event in rs3 this year, honestly. Both feel rushed, unfun, and just kind of lackluster. The rewards are subpar, and the dialogue is forgettable. Wester island looks nice, but beyond that there's nothing really to write home about. All the imagination and what could have been God Ash tier humour was sapped completely from it - I understand you guys are hard at work making Zeah 2: Electric Boogaloo: Codename: Fossil Island (Which come to think about, i hope that's not botched either), but holiday events have always been a staple of the RuneScape experience. And when they continually go on a downwards trend of holiday events being lackluster, (The 2016 Xmas event was just a lazy plug for Xeric) people aren't going to bother to partake in them.
It makes me sad to see the downfall of holiday events in general.
