slayer trails

slayer trails is something a slayer master gives out like a free clue scroll from a slayer master it involved going around and kiling random monsters until you got your slayer trail from them and then you repeat much like the clue scroll however you will be kiling monsters every 100 slayer tasks completed the master will reward you a slayer trail the rewards are a gaurdanteed loot (at lowest masters) that can only be obtained by getting the 100 tasks done this will start at 1 from the update launch and is unique to each master

mazchna-2mil
vannaka-eternal ring of wealth
chaeldar-wrath scroll (or other loot not 100% chance)1/5=proposed ratio
nieve/steve-(soul split scroll) (or other loot not 100% chance)1/5proposed ratio
duradel-turmoil scroll ( or other loot not 100% chance)1/5proposed ratio

turmoil- level 95prayer and 75 defense same stats as piety while draining the enemys stats but does not increase defense every 5 ticks ur defense level goes down by 1 ( i forget how turmoil works in rs3 basicaly exactly like that but without raising defense and lowering yours)

soul split- level 92 and 75 defense has a 1/5 chance of turning off an enemys smite or protection prayers every hit/miss heals 1hp per 3 damage does not smite(if community wants it can smite)

wrath scroll- level 85prayer and 70 defense if you die temperarily boosts your prayer by 5 before smite steals prayer and lowers 2 prayer to the enemy in adition to your smite as a smite and deals 10 damage to a 3 by 3 area

slayer trails involves fighting monsters starting from goblins as the first one then going all the way to bosses and skiling activitys similer to clues and there is hitman and bounty slayer trails one of the goals is to get emblem from bh and upgrade it to tier 10 the other is kiling bosses another would be catching wildy imps

example
step 1. 500 goblins kill goblin
step 2. kill 200 abyssal demons
step 3. kill 5 general graardors
step 4. bh tier 1-10 emblem

-Purchased from any Slayer Master for 1,000 points.

-Allows you to choose which (grimy) Herbs to turn into half of the XP you get if you were to pick them up and clean them.

-The type of Herbs you choose will also be destroyed upon being dropped by an NPC.

-This item will have an "operate" option, which brings up an interface which contains a list of Herb names with a check-mark box beside it and you simply select which Herbs you'd like to be turned into XP upon being dropped.

-This would allow for those annoying Herbs that aren't worth banking to actually be used for a little bit of XP and not go to complete waste.

-For example-

This gave me an idea. Give all the original slayer locations a reason to go there. Nieves is task-only, while the catacombs of Kourend has plenty of other advantages.

For Morytania slayer Tower .. Maybe make all the monsters in it rarely drop marble fragments . This can be used with a granite maul (with 73 crafting req) to craft a marble maul (5 shards give 300 charges), which is the only thing that can harm the Gargoyle boss on the roof. Marble maul has enchanced stats compared to the regular granite maul, can't be used in PvP, can't be recharged and turns to dust when it's fully degraded. This will act as a nice sink for granite mauls.

You won't need anything else to go to the boss, but you'd obviously want to come as well prepared as you possibly could in order to make the most of your maul. The boss should be rewarding as you can't effectively camp it (you should be able to get 5-10 kills with one maul).

Maybe for the slayer caves of Rellekka , make the spined, rock-shell and skeletal armours have some niche use against monsters in there. It'd give a use for those armours, while it makes a certain sense for Fremennik armours to be effective against the local monsters. Maybe we can include the seercull into that as well.

2/2 - Slayer Amulet continued

-Because a Slayer Gem is included, you can check how many monsters you have left to kill on task

-The bonus percentage for attacking undead monsters remains the same as whatever type of salve amulet you included.

-The Witchwood icon protects you from Cave Horror screams

-Xeric's talisman allows the player to teleport to the same places as before, and lizardman fangs are still used to charge the Slayer Amulet's teleports

-This last one is a possibility, but what if including the occult necklace provides the Slayer Amulet with the same stats, but once the Slayer Amulet is imbued, it also provides bonuses (while on task) for range and melee combat.
Again, the exact stats are for the developers to decide so it's not overpowered/under powered, but I feel this would be a good alternative.


I also think if this idea were ever included, you could offer different color options down the line, perhaps as a way to include different slayer monster heads that aren't already used in recolors.


Any other ideas to make this better/include more is definitely encouraged. Or any feedback for that matter!

Not sure what people will think of this, but what about a "Slayer Amulet" similar to the Slayer Helmet?
It would require multiple different slayer related necklaces/amulets to create like the helmet which I will list below, and would also require a significant amount of slayer points to unlock.

This Slayer Amulet would require the following items to create:

-Slayer Gem
-Witchwood icon
-Salve Amulet / Salve Amulet (e) - (i) - (ei)
-Amulet of the damned

Now right now with just these four amulets, it seems a little pointless to create, so I also think the Slayer Amulet could be made with these additional items:

-Slayer Gem
-Witchwood icon
-Salve Amulet / Salve Amulet (e) - (i) - (ei)
-Amulet of the damned
-Occult necklace (maybe)
-Xeric's talisman (maybe)

This may also seem somewhat overpowered, but I think with the addition of Xeric's talisman it would encourage people to kill lizardmen both on and off task, and the lizardman fangs could still be used to charge the Slayer Amulet like the regular Xeric's talisman.

And with the Occult Necklace, I feel it's only appropriate because it is a drop from a slayer exclusive monster.


The stats this Slayer Amulet would have are something I won't be able to suggest myself, however like the Slayer Helmet, this amulet should only be useful while on a slayer task.

With the amulets/necklaces provided, I would like to see these elements included:

-The Amulet of the damned's bonuses for barrows sets remains the same, and the Slayer Amulet will also degrade the same as the Amulet of the damned (but will only degrade when using a full barrows set along with the Slayer Amulet). However, once the Slayer Amulet fully degrades, it will not disappear, but instead you will simply no longer have any of those bonuses with barrows sets until you add another amulet of the damned to the Slayer Amulet.
Like the regular amulet of the damned, you can also add multiple amulets of the damed to the Slayer amulet to combine charges.

I was thinking that the Edgeville dungeon wilderness area should be expanded, maybe to 20 wilderness? Would actually work imo and as for new slayer mobs you could add them in those new areas. Would make more people want to actually go in there for reasons other than Chaos druids, and earth warriors.
