74% is still the majority of the community. Sure, it may not pass, but it wont stop them from polling other ideas. Honestly, after this poll closes, they should do a final question. Based on the current poll (subject to change), an example question could be;

Should we introduce an Auction House that lists ONLINE players' offers only, and automatically trades the items through the system? In addition, you will be able to post buy AND sell offers.

If it passes, it's implemented. If it fails, we move on.

correction; really good ideas get at least 90% and above in the polls. Like bank tabs. No one had trouble deciding that one and others. And no one quit because of it. Yet you still added the option if you don't want it you can turn it off.
Now that was good business.

voted no on all questoins , grand ex is way better

Sigh... You realise voting yes on everything would of pretty much gave you a Grand Exchange. Also if this trade solution fails there is no chance of a Grand Exchange as Jagex said they won't bring up a trade solution again if this poll fails.

If you want this "trading solution" to get passed in-game, YOU MUST VOTE. In this instance, EVERY VOTE COUNTS! I have read various replies of people wanting the trading solution, but don't like the post idea. Please, I repeat, PLEASE do not vote "No" because of this. If you are interested in a faster, more efficient trading system, vote "Yes" because this is your only shot at it!

They really just need to do their jobs, the community has been asking for a trading solution for more than a year. They cant leave every detail of this game to the players, eventually they have to force something through just so 74% of player don't want to quit every time they try logging in.

I honestly think they need to drop GE in all its greatness (or not) right back where it was at, throw a 5% tax on anything bulk over 100k cash or 5% tax on anything non bulk over 1m cash. This will allow people to get their items quickly, and if they must avoid the tax then they could pm the seller (just add their name beside the offer) and say "hey i have 3.4m for a fury but i cant pay the tax, can we meet so i can buy it?" Merchant bots will have to keep going as is because of the 5% tax on trade and anyone who wants fast easy trading will have access to it.

On top of all the rest that 5% tax will allow a way for money to leave the game, and players will keep prices where they think they should be. (and if you don't like the idea of money leaving the game put a poll on it "should all the tax money be put into a coffer and at the end of each day be split up like lotto to 5 random people? this will only be allotted to people who paid the tax that day."...)

I noticed there is no message of the week stating, vote in this weeks poll. Which means you forums people will get your way just like the 75% vote. And I would rather play pogo. The rules don't change and I can talk and play the game like this game use to be. Old school was all for nothing. Jagex's promise of "no grand exchange ever" was a lie.

In a perfect world i would like to have the sell option (like a shortcut) on your character so you can right click that item to sell and it brings up the ge style of interface so you can sell on the go.

E.g. Slaying Abby Demons, gets a whip drop, pick up whip, right click whip - sell, put offer in ge, job done and resume slaying.

Or alternatively have a buy/sell button within the interface somewhere and have it optional for people who want to trade the old inefficient way.

I would have a huge problem with something implemented like this and I'm sure a lot of the "oldschool" people would too. I think its safe to say the people voting no are those who played a lot pre-2007. You see so many other games run into problems because they try to simplify and dumb the game down. And that is really all this is. Adding a GE or AH or whatever it would be called is simply there for convenience. It does not add anything new to the game or fix an existing problem. In my opinion part of the charm of Runescape is W1 trading and the fact that you have to be online and meet the person face to face. There is currently no problem with the trade system. The real problem is that the newer player base is lazy.

You guys complain about merchants now...If you get an AH it will be 1000x worse. Merc* clans will be able to buy and sell in huge bulk to manipulate prices. All that saves you from is meeting them face to face but they will make even more money. I think currently the economy is in a good place. Jagex has done a great job with botters and it is worth it to skill because resources are valuable again. Add the AH and a lot of that will go away...maybe not right away but it will kill the economy.

My last point is for those who say that when the AH gets added people can still trade the old way if they want...stop kidding yourselves. If this gets added everyone will be forced to use it. There will be no alternative.
