@Isoprene

I did same, maxed in 2009.

But you have to admit that mining on one ore in a wall and get several ores, is alot easier than mine granite and drop. And I remember that ropeswing on ape being a pain to hit lol :P

Rs3 did various updates over the years, that made Things easier either in getting the xp or less clicking/work. and imo motherlode and rooftops are in that category *still I am not complaining* Don't matter that much to me, yet anyway, it might if the trend keep going that way lol.

I also saw what the Ge did back then, but it to wasn't as much the Ge it self, it was more the restricntions at the time, and abuse by Merchants. But Merchants already alive and kicking as it is now in osrs.

We probably gonna have to agree to disagree on this, and that is fine :) Atleast we get a poll to vote about this, this time around, and no matter of outcome hopefully try to get the best out of it. Play and adapt :P

Oh I will definitely try to adapt no matter what the outcome :D Hoping for the best no matter what happens. And I really do appreciate the fact that we get to vote this time around. I wonder what would've happened to the original game if we were THAT PRIVILIGED back then :P Maybe there wouldn't even be an osrs today.

Just voted no on all questions as I'm perfectly happy with the current trading system. Interested to see the final outcome.

Thanks for that.... You may be very happy with the trading system, but the great majority is not.... I don't think it would have hurt you to AT LEAST vote YES for question 1. If you had voted yes for question 1, then at least if you don't want to use it, you don't have to, and it won't affect you, while meantime helping out so many people who wanted this. Please consider the community's voice- not just your own.

Anyway, as far as the trading post, I personally want something very close to a G.E., but since I know that some oppose such an idea very strongly, I voted no on a couple Ideas that would make it too G.E.-like. A G.E. replica might cause a few problems that could be eliminated by removing some of its functions. This way, even G.E. opponents will be somewhat ok with the trading system (I think). The 6 hour window might be a little too long for offline, so I don't think offline trading would pass... Maybe 1 or 2 hours instead? I don't want to see an idea shot down and abandoned when it only needed a minor adjustment....

Speak for yourself - If the "great majority" isn't happy with the current trading system the poll will reflect that.

The majority aren't happy with the trading system... the polls are showing 70% + yes votes which is only 5% short of a super majority never mind a majority. Some of the questions its even less than 5% short of a super majority.

According to the current poll data. It seems the majority do want a trading solution.

I don't get it how is the old way of trading fun? I played since 2005. I hate waiting for hours to find the right guy to sell to or buy from. ***** can be a pain the person could be online. It sucks that you have to find a person in a sea of players. Are you telling me that is your idea of fun. I understand this game needs player interaction but when I trade with a player in a sea of other players. I forget who I traded with, its not like we become friends after this. This trading solution will make the most annoying part of the game a less frustrating as nobody wants to sit two hours to sell an item. For those saying that price manipulation only happend in GE is bull-sh*t it is happening now without GE. Prices can still crash so those are anothe phony excuse. Now I don't care if we don't get GE but we need something better than this. The chat filter is garbage as it doesn't filter the chat bubbles it only filter the chat window.

Current poll data is interesting but definitely not conclusive. There seems to be a majority FOR piecing out items from a bulk sale, and also FOR allowing buy offers. But these are by a very close margin and could be upset easily as the voting goes on. Meanwhile the players voting FOR having the system complete trades for you seems to be just barely falling short, as does the players voting FOR the system to happen in the first place. Again these are by a very close margin, only 4k votes tallied so far.

It seems clear that offers should not stay visible for offline players, and that's the only thing that's clear so far in this poll. (by clear I mean more than a 2-3% margin).
