10 year runescape veteran here. I agree with most, particularly in favor of the new land mass, love to explore, and bank tabs :) . Disagree with player council and bounty hunter, current voting system will more than suffice, bounty hunter has POTENTIAL to mess with the wild too much.

I think some of the veterans on here are way too picky. OSRS is nowhere near the devestation that is RS3, so long as the players(majority are veterans) are keeping the updates in check, I believe it'll all work out.

Not too excited about the player council.
It'll pretty much consist of streamers and youtubers.
Just scrap that idea, don't try to alter it and make it more appealable.
This is the beauty about the internet, a direct democracy works. We don't need a council. (And the people I talked too also made it clear they don't want one)

As the rest of the planned updates go, they sound nice. (provided they pass the polls, which I doubt some of them will, like a new skill)

So, I guess some people are confused about the "trade solution". I will try to explain it.

People are upset about the current system of spammy trade and impossible to locate people in world 1. People have suggested ways to fix this. Yes, this includes things LIKE a GE, but is not limited to that. There is never going to be a trade limit, especially because things will never be given a physical cost.

And yes, you will have the option to vote against it. The polls will be like so: vote on whether or not we need something -> vote on which solution we would like -> vote on the solution -> implimented or not. Though, if the original passes (do we need a solution?), it will most likely just be repolled (the second [which solution?]).
