I'm curious, why even poll it as a demi-boss, if you're going to make it a real boss?

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind that the fight is more challenging or is a boss myself... But it was still polled as a demi-boss, which is incredibly misleading.

Scorpia is a demi-boss because her health pool is wimpy, her max hit is wimpy, and she barely got any mechanics.

Skotizo got more health than most bosses, a high max hit, and got more mechanics than most bosses.

Calling Skotizo a demi-boss is a mislabel.

When you say all items are lost if you die in the new demons dungeon, does that mean its like dying skulled or do you still keep all untradeables + 3 items.

It is like a standard death, the only difference is that you unfortunately cannot get back to whatever items dropped to the floor. So yes, you will keep untradeables and any other items you are protecting.

So far I've seen lots of people say it's too easy, and lots say it's too hard... so it's probably about right!

Well, he isn't hard by any means, but when compared Scorpia?

Skotizo is pretty much a boss in all regards. He got the stats of a boss and more mechanics than most current bosses.

Just to clarify, I like Skotizo. I love and adore his design and hope he get a boss pet in the future when there's dev time for it (Please, please, pleeeease!!!), and I don't mind his mechanics or amount of challenge. But compared to current bosses and demi-bosses, I don't think it's fair to label him a demi-boss, that's simply misleading.

It's only for the 2 weeks of the event

The midsummer always worked like that, and since it's a temporary event it didn't really "come to OSRS", nor did they ever promise there'll never be daily/weekly things in OSRS. They have stated they want to LIMIT the amount of daily/weekly things in OSRS. A decision I very much agree with, since it went a bit too far in RS3, where you essentially need to sacrifice your first 30min - 1hour of a session for dailies.

I'm guessing midsummer work like last year, where you only need to do it 3 times out of the 2 week duration, in order to get the special item. All you really miss out on if you miss a day, is a disk of returning/half jug, which you will get each day.
