Aww.. my "Nurturing" skill didn't make the cut. :(

I feel that the development team passed off my idea because it may have been too much work for them. I honestly do not like the idea of any of these skills, however the people whom created the Artisan and the Geomancy skills should be proud of their designs.

I honestly don't understand how Forestry, Astronomy or Herding made it up there.



I think so. Really, it is like they picked the least developed skills because it would be possible to implement. None of the in-depth skills were listed.

It seems like they shied away from or ignored detailed submissions.

I dont like these skills, they seem very tedious and unoriginal.

I dont want to cut 1000 yew logs to level one artisan level. You're trying to give life to skills people find a chore to level by forcing it on them with a new skill. That's not how its done. You have to make it more fun. Rewards are good and all but if its a pain in the butt, everyone will just complain that a bad skill has been added to the game. There needs to be some sort of excitement in the new skill, something that makes it fun to do, not the same old stuff rehashed to make it seem new.

Seems like you guys are adding a skill to teh game just for the sake of adding a new skill to the game. Please take some time to think it over, improve on the idea before you go off making the community upset.

Geomancy is the only skill here that seems like it wont be a chore but it doesn't feel like it needs to be a skill all on its own.

That's not really true, though. When I submitted Forestry, I included a lot more details and even a video to Jagex. They did list the wordfile. So the submission was more in depth, it's just not shown here :)
