I've got a great idea, make those hidden worlds have safe or dangerous pvp enabled everywhere to disrupt bots even further if efficient players or falsely flagged accounts end up on those worlds.

If safe pvp, bots will die and not all of them are programmed to return.

If dangerous pvp, this would cause major financial loss to botters especially if they are a non gold farmer wearing their good items while botting.

Youd assume so, though i know for a fact, mistakes still happen. Though i ofc cant prove this to you. Many others who have been banned falsely and then had the ban removed and stricken from their accounts know this too.

Why do you assume false bans cant happen and yet produce a post like this that so very clearly shows your accuracy levels arent perfect.
The system does make mistakes, but all accounts flagged are reviewed by actual humans before bans are handed out, so while the system may make mistakes when flagging accounts, there won't be any mistakes when bans are dished out.
We're not the ones doing the checking so we don't really have the right to say whether it's reliable or not. I imagine that if it's someone's job to go through thousands of bot flags each day then their investigations are by no means thorough, but we don't really know.

I'd rather give someone the benefit of the doubt when not in possession of all the facts, because if you're genuinely in the position of being falsely punished, having some random person tell you you're wrong is nothing but aggravating.

this is probly gonna end up being something people want to get moved to

can do stuff like go wildy and kill one of the 1000 green drag bots for bones/hides without worrying about any actual players/pkers showing up

Glad to read about this new mechanism.
Glad to see the fight against bots getting a more visible priority.

I'm very much looking forward to playing this great game with a smaller chance of stumbling over bots every step of the way.
Isn't it strange that so many players blindly apply to clans, without ever wondering why there are openings in that clan?

Nice but it sounds like this is only going to catch people that are botting after this is implemented. There's like 20 mains on my ignore list that I caught botting runecrafting and as long as they don't bot after they will be fine which is unacceptable.

I just checked them today and some of them don't show up on highscores which is hopefully because they are banned, but many of them still show up and have runecrafting levels ranging from 70 all the way up to 91. I'm not interested in playing a game where people illegitimately got high levels and nothing happens to them. It's one of the huge reasons I don't and won't play rs3, the highscores and levels are so dishonest it isn't appealing and it seems osrs will now follow the same path although without quite the magnitude of rs3.

I just checked the runecrafting top 100, and more than 10% of all 99 runecrafters are obvious bots and makes me wonder how many of the other 99s rcers are just mains that botted it through the abyss like the people I have on my ignore? In just the top 100 Runecrafters there is 132 MILLION exp from bots and about 25M nats from just those bots.

I would be surprised if you didn't ban the 99 rcing bots after this but how about the main who botted the abyss 1 time 2 months ago for 20 hours and did the rest legit to level 70? Is he going to get banned? If not I will be very disappointed. Maxed Sept 24th, 2015 - 134th to max
