Please don't let reddit control the future of our game, all popular ideas should be polled in-game and decided that way, not through the opinions of a small percentage of the active player base.
exactly. they listened to 100 redit users and ignored rest of community. i was hyped for LS. now they removing it totally without even polling.

Obviously you haven't read the forum thread/dev blogs on this...many dissenting opinions there on LS too. I know, I wrote one

...the market will sort that out m8....so what's the
real
problem you have with SS? Saying 'this will work just like it did/does on RS3 is bunk, because that's demonstrably not true.
I don't play RS3, so I don't know how it works, so bringing that up in the first place is Bunk.
My real problem is.....
Original message details are unavailable.
So now you have a bunch of players with a bunch of shards that aren't selling for the correct values because people aren't buying them. So now the only solution for those players is to Accept less than they should be getting....Or just save the shards until they have 300 to make the item and sell that.
But....then why bother with Shardshare, if the solution was to just make the item and sell that? In the end, all you've done is Split 3 items to 3 players, but it took longer.
I suppose copy-pasting what I already said won't work though...since saying it already didn't, so here*
**;DR = The people PvMing will no longer get the actual value of the items they got as drops as they would of gotten with Instant Share
Everything's an integrity issue if you troll enough.

Just wanted to say good luck and hope this works out better for OSRS than it did for RS3. Similar thing on RS3 and the shards aren't really used because no one wanted to buy them.
thank god lootshare i thrown out the window! takes the fun out of pvm for me altogether, although i like the shard share idea more i'll still be voting no ! its fine the way it is

They will though, as the market will sort that out, as you're obviously NOT getting...
So, say the shard value of an item (let's say Bandos Tassets - currently values at 26,439,120) is 85,000 at ge (which is slightly less than the 88,130.4 the shard is worth compared to the full item)...so people can buy the item at 25,500,000, instead of 26.4m...they can flip it for a cool mill profit, or (if they're smarter), sell it for 500k more than they paid, and flip more daily at that rate...
...so the price of the full item ALSO DROPS, as it's not worth buying at 26.4m anymore...
How friggin hard is that to grasp?

i dont like shard share because its manipulate the price of items, i rather stick with instashare( coinshare) than shardshare or lootshare
As if that doesn't?

So, say the shard value of an item (let's say Bandos Tassets - currently values at 26,439,120) is 85,000 at ge (which is slightly less than the 88,10.4 the shard is worth compared to the full item)...
But it won't be because the shards will be static to the 1/300th of the Tassets price.
All your scenario is...is Flipping...that's it. You can do the exact same thing already. Buy low, sell high.
Which doesn't solve my issue of the PvMers actually getting their worth.
The market isn't going to sort out the Shard Price because the Shard Price is static to the Item they're relative to.
If the price of Tassets Drop...so do the Shards for tassets, but people still won't bother buying the Shards, unless it's to Under-Buy them. Which still comes to my problem of the PvMers not getting the money they should of gotten.

Better than lootshare but still going to vote no, don't like that over half of the worlds would be there for teams to crash. Current system works just fine, play with friends you trust
