I feel like my opinion will be overlooked since the team their reply is always 'well, how
would
you like it being done'. Which makes makes my 'no' completely pointless.
So for once, since I really do NOT want this in the game, I will offer an alternative (which has already been offered on twitter before by several people).
Make it so that your clan chat team damage is combined to offer the highest damage and then give the loot to the highest damage dealing player within the group. E.g.:
player 1 in team 35% damage
player 2 in team 25% damage
player 3 outside team 40% damage
team gets drop, player 1 gets drop
This is an MMO, trust is going to be a thing. Clanning is going to be a thing. Please don't try and make this game something it is not.
I myself have been a solo player for a long time, but finally did find a clan and it is awesome.
Mod Kieran on twitter said "This leaves one problem in PvM IMO... bosses that have tank roles or non dps roles."
Teams already make the tank roll more attractive by offering them rewards. Plus that is the essence of a team, you work together to get the loot.
And a second thing, offering instantshare is cool but don't say "well you can't have that without lootshare". Ofcourse you can! Just implement instantshare but don't activate lootshare... I feel like you're forcing people to choose for LS.
