What happened to the diversity of styles? We already have the old rocks in dwarven mines. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The rocks at surface had a 2007 feel to it. Now it has a 2003 feel, something that wouldn't suit me well.

I've decided I'm going to quit OSRS because ALL the rocks are changed to classic. I'll not return until the update to rocks are undone.

Well the poll was do you want old style rocks or new style rocks. It was to be consistent as there were certain areas that were having the new rocks. My Clan

The simple fact is, what ended up in game was not in line with what we polled. We offered a high-effort method of Runecrafting and most people doing it were spending minutes AFK. The change was made to make sure that the content that ended up in game was as described in the poll and developer blogs.

It will still be an enjoyable, unique and profitable way for you to train Runecrafting after this change, just less AFK. You'll have to switch rocks a few times per inventory which is not an unreasonable level of activity to expect for Runecrafting.

It is more click intensive than astrals and astrals at 82 has more profit. Jesus Jagex people liked it so you listen to a few top 99ers who got their method the old way. It was slightly AFK but it made up for the less profit you got when you comapred other RC methods like natures or astrals. By the way its affecting the XP rate as well so now you ****** up the XP rates.

Higher experience should be high effort.

It really is amusing to see so many people complain about making soul rcing a little less afkable. I don't understand why you question Jagex's rights to make balancing changes to updates, especially when the polled questions stated the method would be "high effort".

Agreed. Why was that even a poll option?! It's pointless as heck.

Just because people were all "MUH NAWSTALJA" didn't mean you had to take a step backwards, Jagex. Oh, I almost forgot.

The dragon warhammer looks pointless to me, though I applaud the unpolled decision to nerf Zeah runecrafting. OSRS has tried to prove itself as "harder" than RS3; allowing near-AFK and completely-AFK methods to thrive was bad for it. Game balance is important, whether people like it or not.

So get to nerfing the warhammer. Oh, I almost forgot.

why put the dragon warhammer only in with the shay*ien at 100% rating wont that make most people just want to choose shay*ien only.

A fella called Steve has kindly opened up a new area for avid Slayers to take on skeletal wyvern*. If you are on a task you can use the area just above the existing wyverns to complete your task with a little less competition.

remember if you make the game to easy, people wont play because they achieve everything to fast and nothing to get done.
