i just got ensouled bloodveld head in the stronghold slayer cave what is that?
New item for use in necromancy.
When you've unlocked the Arceuus House spellbook, you'll be able to reanimate things like that.
It can be traded.
guys, enough with the "woot" and "nice" comments that say nothing
Is it possible to earn more than one house favour? Because I find it ridiculous if I earn the favour of fighting house I cannot earn trust from the farming house, making it impossible to unlock all content provided all around the new area.
I can't get into the game to check out the update but is there anything in it relating to Firemaking? I remember reading about Fire Pits for POH but never any real details about it. Been stocking up yews in preperation for a firemaking pet release but maybe if there's a cool use for them in Zeah I might do that instead.

You can't :^)
Read the update page.
I'm assuming you can combine houses by maintaining average relationships with them, that way you might be able to use perks from each house that require 45% respect. You'll never be able to use 100% perks from more than one house though.
I'm 20 minutes in plowing for the Hosidius house right now and I've gotten 2.4% respect, and you need 45% for the feeding soldiers minigame. You do the math.

That has already be answered in this post... You can earn favour in other houses whenever you like, but it will reduce your favour with all houses except the one you are working for at the time*
**;DR, you cannot make a decision that gets you locked out of the rewards of any house, however, you cannot access the benefits of every house at once, you must earn / re-earn favour with each house as needed / wanted
