Well, so far I've only tried the Shay*ien household. I was excited about the new armour, but then I got it and well... it's completely useless. Fashionscape. I might be judging too fast, but my honest first impressions are as follows:
Beautiful modelling and textures, REALLY aesthetically pleasing to look at. Well done!

However, I will reiterate the fact that it feels like a giant minigame. Where's the real content? Where's some new weapon or armour that will spice things up in the game a little bit? Add a little bit of diversity to gameplay, that sort of thing.

I have yet to try the other parts of Zeah yet; but if they are anything like Shay*ien, I'll be hugely disappointed. But, even if they are, I trust you as a team to make things right; and I can see how you could very easily make things better with a few little tweaks here and there. Specifically by buffing that armour in a unique kind of way and making it more difficult to get.

PS: It's pretty funny the way you can't type Shay*ien on the forum, lol

I think the city is an nice piece of land. Some places had this very distinct atmosfear, where the music is also really fitting.
But yeah, the land feels a little empty at the same time. It's an enormous space of land, and relatively few activities. Zeah certainly has potential for many stories to be told, I'd really want quests and such in future updates. But this is a great way to start it all off!

ok. we've waited a while for this hyped update to come and looking at it its terrible.

lets start off with the 'armour' tier 5 takes approx. 4 hours+ to get and gives stats similar t mithril - USELESS

New magic armour, stats worse than mystic - USELESS

no new weapons, no rigour, even most of lizard drops are well... USELESS

basically only if your an irrelevant player which most people know as 'skillers' will you find this graphical waste of space in anyway wanted.

the minigames take 2x longer to train than any current skilling method of training, too much click intensive, and doesn't give rewards worth playing for.

in summary, only useless irrelevant players will take part of in zeah as it is at the moment.

another brilliantly failed update by the jagex staff who gave skillers a new method of being fashionscape irrelevant players.

still waiting for pvm/pvp/armour/weapons/rigour. to come out of a supposedly 'exciting' area.

forget about skillers they are worthless to oldschool focus on combat and nothing more and give the real players a reason to pay your salaries.
Undisputed king of everything pvp w25 edgeville we gl if u disagree

Just want to say that I feel really let down by this update...

I was overwhelmed with excitement when I first heard about Zeah. It was the reason I came back to play Old School Runescape after the nostalgia wore off and I stopped playing again. I have been highly optimistic for it and I was waiting on the docks with all the Jmods and players on World 302 for the launch.

When I got there, I was awed by the graphics and the music. Being lost was fun, but I started to become stressed when the NPC's all say "I won't talk to you until you get favour." rather than telling you HOW TO GET favour - and once I found out how, I got bored very quickly.

Others have covered why it isn't enjoyable - It feels like a minigame. Grinding for favour is slow and doesn't seem worth the rewards. Nobody came to Zeah hoping to blindly search shelves in a giant library or plough fields for hours - and why does charcoal take an insane amount of time to process?

I wish my experience wasn't negative but I was expecting new Quests, new Enemies (Not just a pit full of Lizardmen and some new Guards), new Achievement Diaries, new ways to train that don't require 1) Choosing to stick to one way of training and 2) Doing a boring and repetitive task over and over to gain the right to train that way.

I understand that you are limited by players who vote against changes such as new skills and resources, which is what I was hoping to see from Zeah, and I appreciate that you've done your best to work within those limitations, but as it is, I have no reason to use Zeah until 90 Runecrafting which is a goal I probably won't achieve any time soon.

To improve it, I'd like to see the restriction of favour in one city at a time be removed. I'd like each city to have a quest or set of tasks to earn favour in rather than senseless grinding. I'd like NPC's to be helpful rather than condescending. I'd like the time to make charcoal reduced, and if possible I'd like sailing to be repolled! :P

Hello OSRS team, release of Zeah has changed my life completely. I suffer from severe Na** (salt) deficiency disorder. I had to visit the hospital 5 times a week for salt injections. However, getting approval with house Piscarilius supplies me enough salt through the screen. You saved me money time and effort. I can't thank you enough. I owe u my life!
