everyone here seems to have good ideas from wagering clan wars to the maps I like the idea that clan wars will keep your items safe but at the same time I would bet once in a while :P

also as for the snow it was a good idea aswell and I also saw a guy say something about an island with castles at each end and teamwork well here is my idea I thought up what if there were a couple of maps preset to be say a team defender or something sort of like castle wars but at the same time soul wars in a way say a soul wars style map with a castle at each end and have the clans fight to takeover and destroy the other teams castle or another thought was to make it multi combat and im sure you guys have played call of duty ghosts and know what the game mode blitz is where you run to a spot on the map then you git a point for it and are teleported back to your side and would work towards say 20 points (or more) ehh im thinking too much you guys can put the pieces togather and make out what I mean hopefully anyways I enjoy the ideas guys gl and keep improving with what we like <3 the new /old school :)

4. please consider staking. There are ways that it can be implemented to prevent scamming and you could even cap it so no player can stake more than 1m if you want to be super safe.

how staking would work. Imagine plateau arena & nmz lobby
You put ~1m gp in the coffer. but it could literally be 1gp to 10m, doesnt matter
You and 4 friends stake another team of 5.
All 10 of you must walk up to the fence to deposit 100k if it's a 500k stake/1m pot.
-This makes it so you are able to see the opponents you are fighting.
If 1 person doesn't put in a stake, the match ends, money refunded into the coffer
If all 10 people deposit, the match will begin in 60secs. if your opponent has 6 people, a person you do not recognize, a person you do not want, you can simply leave and the match will be nulled and money refunded. Would help if a "matched opts&qu

I like the idea of clan staking, but I'm not sure it should be limited to equal people on both sides. Clan fighting is completely different and a group of 20 good people can beat a group of 100 bad.

In addition to their being preset rules (5v5, 10v10, 15v15, maybe 20v20) there should be a fullout version of it, to get into the fight you need to pay a minimum amount set by the leaders, sure this means the pot will be uneven from both sides but it will at least reward those who are skilled enough to beat clans with larger numbers.

I'll vote no for clan wars, but if it does pass I think this would be a good addition.

4 things from the clan world, please strongly consider each one


1. please make the old plateau and classic arena bigger. for classic, stretch it west-east(don't add any trees!). Hell you can just make it a dif arena (classic big), and for plateau pretty much add 8 sqs to all 4 sides. The biggest problem is that the only map even plausible for 60v60s p2p was turrets and it had those turrets that aren't ever present on any map or obstacle in the wilderness so it was awkward and not what we wanted.
2. add a spider hill to new gate arena, and have the portals at gdz and west of spider hill. Don't include npc*. Literally copy and paste the terrain, don't include south of gap, don't include red dragon isle, don't include north of the fence.
3. Please add the rules "matched opts" and "time until return." The "time until return" means for battles where you can re-enter the portal, you can choose if you want the fastest available time before they return to be 30seconds, 1minute, etc. 0,10,30,60,90,120, etc all the way up to 300sec
4. please consider staking. There are ways that it can be implemented to prevent scamming and you could even cap it so no player can stake more than 1m if you want to be super safe.

That's fine. if you're referring to my post, I never stated it had to be matched.
it's just if you're doing a 5v5, and the other team has 6 people, then you can leave and avoid being "cheated." However, you can feel free to stay in. I guess the only thing that would need clarifying is that you can stake a different amount than your opponent.

Well I think that if it was done, it would only let 5 people in it to begin with. So if you wanted a 5v5, neither team would be able to have more than 5 people in the arena at any time. At least that seems the most sensible way to do it I think, otherwise people might find ways to stay in the arena without paying, etc and it would just add unneeded work to the mods.

Omg this is getting ridiculous... STOP UPDATING THE GAME EVERY ******* WEEK.
This is no longer an OldSchool Version of Runescape. This is no longer 2007Scape. This is becoming RS3 more and more each week. You guys are making updates that should have been made over the course of YEARS.

I realize all you care about is money and bringing in more and more of it at any cost, but for the love of god stop killing this game with updates. I'm not necessarily against updates, but the rate they are coming in is just ludicrous.

SLOW DOWN

At this rate, there was no reason to create a 2007 version of Runescape, You could have just created a 2010-2012 server since that's what you seem to be creating here anyways. Whether they are different items or slightly changed updates from the same game, it's the same idea (e.g. Trident/Polypore)
