To the people complaining about the availability of the rares, go play RS3 and save up 2 billion coins if you want the "real deal rare experience". So what if many people have them, they look cool. Does nothing satisfy some of you people? I'm glad they are released in this manner because Jagex never intended for "rares" to ever be rare in the first place and be obsessed over.

P.S Jagex...take all of my bot reports to good use! They are a nuisance!
Indeed, the original issue with "rares" was that they were never supposed to be rare in the first place - that is why in 2003 they ceased making them tradable. Jagex admitted that how they handled the tradable rares was an oversight on their part - one they are determined to make sure never happens again. Good on them I say
