The OSRS community is not dwindling. It's growing, and DMM made it even bigger.

We try to deliver updates for all types of players. Yes, at the moment we've spent a lot of time on things that don't interest you personally, but hopefully we'll be able to spend time on things that do interest you soon - even if there's other players who don't care about the same things that you care about.

Also Mod Ash I got a good question.. sorry it's very off topic but whenever I tried to make a content suggestion I got raged at by mains.. and I am sure only ironmen will understand why it's annoying.. apparently players can't go into ironmen houses? I understand why we can't enter theirs but please may they be able to enter ours? could this be so they can't light our burners etc. So our hard working construction levels aren't wasted :( or whats the point in throne rooms etc. I wanna make my house as nice as an Ironman can possbility make a house look :( but I don't want my hard work wasted.. please can they enter our player owned house?

The HP insurance update not being ready is very disappointing . I detrimentally relied on the fact that updates come out Thursday after the poll and sold 10 d scims from my deposit box to pay to protect my 75 + hp. Then I wasn't going to play until I bought the insurance.

Now that it didn't come out I need to either not play for another week, risk it hard, or repopulate my deposit box with items that might deprecate.

Is it possible to release this update as soon as it's ready, rather than waiting until next thursday?

I know that Dark Essence is a partly a supply control mechanic against too many Bloods and Souls entering the economy, but with the new spellbook's planned dominant reliance on those do you think that will be necessary?

Even though the XP rates seem balanced fine for the new rune types and are figured around with Dark Essence, I more so worry that the tedium of the process would make the rune production itself very slow.

Is there any chance we can open the Blood Altar in the abyss? From what I understand it's fully coded in there.. perhaps that could be explored for different tradeoffs compared to crafting them in Zeah. It could perhaps be a Hard reward of a Zeah diary.

Also, any news we might get about the New Spellbook? I'm really hoping it helps solo mages out in PVP, as our viability greatly suffers in areas like Edgeville and normal PVP. world areas (would take a whole thread to explain). Will it possibly reward creative spell usage? For example a reason to cast a lower level spell too while you already have access to higher leveled spells in the spellbook. -

Players are still allowed to attack others in the guarded towns ???? I get that it's supposed to keep skulled pkers out but why should a player be able to keep ddsing someone in the bank or casting ice barrage with 5 spells in their inventory and keep repeating. Thought you were better than this jagex, you've lost my subscription though. Can't wait til this game is dead content because you're all too stupid to think about things like this.

It says that keys that belong to the player that are dropped to the ground are destroyed...and that keys in safe zones are always dropped to the ground. So does that mean if someone accidentally skulls in a safe zone, and I do the most damage on them as they're dying, I won't get their key?

We weren't especially confident that we could apply the Iron Man restrictions properly in the POH code to avoid abuse there. So as a failsafe we simply blocked the houses altogether.

The towns are guarded, but PvP is not supposed to be prevented there. This is not a bug.

It'd be nice if we could launch everything as quickly as players want it, but I'm afraid that isn't going to be possible. That feature will come.

Rebooting the game to launch a new feature is quite disruptive to everyone who's trying to play at the time, so we tend not to do it away from the expected Thursday reboots unless it'll solve a critical bug. That's not a fixed rule, of course, but it really does annoy players to be kicked offline for a reboot.

Will you ever fix the fact that people can die so easily in guarded areas, even if it isn't a bug it is extremely unfair to newer and lower levelled players I'm sure you'll agree? Also, for some reason there is no financial wizard at the ali kharid bank, can you add this in?

Overall a great job, slightly disappointed that losing 25% xp on death and hp insurance will take another week but I appreciate the changes made today.
