Mod Ash, I have used the abyssal dagger a lot for pking. And frankly the "buff" should be making this thing hit more often than not and thats just not the case. I fight anybody with rune and its guaranteed zero fest. "I've been playing since 2006 but jagex made me quit 11/20/2013"

Pets are members' features. We've not launched any F2P pets yet.

We offered one from the Easter event, and again from Halloween, but there wasn't much support. I believe that's because people didn't want everyone to get a pet so easily, rather than because they objected to F2P getting pets. But, whatever the reason, those didn't pass.

We can buff it further, although its price doesn't seem to have dropped so badly as you'd expect if it were truly useless.

It's not useless but it doesn't really compare to anything else as a spec weapon with a lot of ko potential for anyone that's got more than 20 def. 50% spec is way too high too. If specs can't be repolled, maybe polling the removal of the -15% damage to it's spec would be good
