Please upgrade ents to a higher noted log chop-count or an additional drop table of some sort.. Even with 99 woodcutting and a dragon hatchet, the logs gained/time is garbage, considering that you have to kill one monster per 4-10 logs. The ability of gathering noted logs at this rate is not enough incentive in itself, and certainly not enough reward for the risk involved.

Instead of just increasing chance of better logs with dragon hatchet, it should also give double logs when using dragon especially.

The dragon axe has very low high alchemy value, so almost anything protects over it and you still need melee gear to kill the tree ents. People are just using rune hatchet because it's not worth using dragon, requiring dragon is part of the risk or at least should be to get the highest potential.

I asked Mod John C to add bird nest's while chopping the trunk, that was well received by people on that thread, hopefully added soon.

EDIT: With 83 woodcutting, max melee, dragon axe I'm only getting 7.5k woodcutting exp per hour which is a major turn off for me because i can simply go back to doing yews or magics for twice or triple the exp without risk and also get bird nests.

Great concept, just not worth it though.

"Inside the cave you will find aviansies which drop noted adamant bars as well as Ecumenical keys which will allow you access to the God Wars bosses without getting the kill count needed to open their doors."

Just a heads up if I am reading the post correctly it looks as though your frequently asked questions (FAQ) statements says aviansies will not be dropping Ecumenical keys to contradict the original statement provided.

"Q: Why don't Aviansies drop Ecumenical keys?"
"A: We felt they had enough incentive with noted bars."

No one who woodcuts for profit expects xp. I dont see why you dont just cut teaks if xp is more of an issue to you..

Have you tried ents yet?

The chaos monks\druids have amazing drops, next to prayer alter and amazing experience. Their experience isn't halved? Why is combat exclusive to getting great drops AND exp?

Regardless of the experience gained at ents, (or lack thereof) they don't provide worthwhile monetary gains. Can't see any reason to continue killing and chopping them down. Receiving noted magic/yew/lower tier logs is great and all, but I could chop down many more per hour at any non-wilderness location, while banking. This is coming from 99 woodcutting + dragon hatchet. I'd say they fall under "Dead content" right now, please upgrade :)
