I love the idea of skilling pets! However, one thing concerns me:
"In the same way that boss pets are very, very difficult to acquire, skilling pets would be incredibly rare. It will not be quicker to get the pet by doing faster, lower level activities as the likelihood of receiving the pet will be based on how long it takes to perform each action."
Does this mean that the longer it takes to complete an action, for example mining an ore, the better your chance of getting a pet is? Like if I mine a rune ore, which takes longer than say tin ore to mine, my chance of getting a pet will be higher?
If so, that could potentially hurt people with higher skill levels. For example, a person mining coal at lvl 30 mining will take longer to mine it than someone with lvl 99 mining. Thus, giving the person with only 30 mining a better chance of getting a pet than someone with 99 mining.
Am I understanding this correctly?
