Too many updates = bigger chances to ***** this game totally. More changes, more critical failures. Personally, I would like most of this updates, but I don't like the idea, to make this game Easy*cape... Lunar spell? Why then not add Lunar spell which will allow you to plant seeds directly then? All this limitations in Barbarion Assault were annoying, but it was part of the game, you had to plan your moves to get most and not loose points. Skilling pets? Really? Idk... Hope most of these updates will not pass. Slim chance though, but still...

P.S.: Maybe its time to separate this game into two: Leave OSRS and make EasyScape for all this big changes ? :)

Question: Should the limit on honour points at Barbarian Assault be increased to 5,000 in each role?
Question: Should a counter for queen kills be added to Barbarian Assault?

In the Q&A you said there'd be stackable queen kills too, without stackable queen kills a point cap would be pretty redundant. What's the point in hoarding points if at the end when you're capped in a role you can only gamble once ? O_o

Also if you're adding a queen kill counter please make it in game only, like how you can see your time played at Hans. Hiscores make people play differently lol

Everyone voting no for the skilling pets please think about the fact that skillers get absolutely nothing in comparison to PVM'ers except for skillcapes and significanty less gp/h. Let the skillers also have some rng based reward except for the capes that you know exactly when you will get them.

Wait up.. you are saying they are for pvmers? Okay so what about the barbarian assualt pet? the chompy chick? They take long amounts of patience to obtain through the requirments or time spent waiting and they are not the slightest bit from pvm but they were okay to implement. So I dont really see how skill pets will affect the game being such a novelty thing. I find the pvm pets a novelty looking thing anyway. Its not all about pvm. Runescape was traditionally a very skill based game until the major slayer updates came through and new bosses with gwd so I think stay easy on the insults with skilling based hard earned rewards. And just for the record im not a fan of the idea of skilling pets anyway and more into the pvm/mini game/quest sort of pet. However I wouldn't wreck it for others by voting no just cause I dont want it. I would rather other players who just skill have a reward since its only novelty and it wont wreck the game at all. Its a side show thing. Clan Defy -

I love the idea of skilling pets! However, one thing concerns me:

"In the same way that boss pets are very, very difficult to acquire, skilling pets would be incredibly rare. It will not be quicker to get the pet by doing faster, lower level activities as the likelihood of receiving the pet will be based on how long it takes to perform each action."

Does this mean that the longer it takes to complete an action, for example mining an ore, the better your chance of getting a pet is? Like if I mine a rune ore, which takes longer than say tin ore to mine, my chance of getting a pet will be higher?

If so, that could potentially hurt people with higher skill levels. For example, a person mining coal at lvl 30 mining will take longer to mine it than someone with lvl 99 mining. Thus, giving the person with only 30 mining a better chance of getting a pet than someone with 99 mining.

Am I understanding this correctly?

WELL SKILLING is kinda a die-off thing over time when cutting wood/mining etc is boring/unprofitable compared to other things you can do ingame later on. myself i've bossed and learning i can get anywhere from like 1m-150m in like 1-5hours i will probably never do woodcutting and the such again but skilling provides the stepping stones for players starting out working up towards bossing so when people get massive drops of logs etc off bosses it hurts the people working their way up

SO THE SOLUTION is give people that specialise in something more benefits what this means is if someone specialised in woodcutting they could recieve a rare pet over time eventually as mentioned in the developer blog but this pet will help you cut trees down faster.(on a sidenote same way for bossing pets make the pets be able to attack which will help you kill stuff)

THE TEMPORARY COMBAT REQUIREMENT ON THE CORPOREAL BEAST allowed the drops to start out and level out over time so people that could fight the boss got to down it which allowed the game to recieve these items first off and without it the game wouldnt of recieved many items for a while and would of been alot of chaos since its drops were worth so much value and so many people would of probably been there.

THE PROBLEM NOW is whatever way you look at it this closes off content reception from the public and it being the most valuable boss ingame will drive off more people from playing runescape when they think their just appealling to the people that can do these things especially when there isnt a neccessary requirement when also they may not only be the people that can get the down also when the people that would vote yes are mostly the people that have a better chance at it anyways.

i agree with the lunar spell checking farming patches
