Now, I vote no, that should be established. Not because I want to preserve the "Old School Style" (I voted for Zulrah, Ceberus, etc.). I don't have all 99's, so I could still train it without being butthurt. Not to mention, I didn't leave the community out in my thoughts, as this is a huge update.
To me personally, it seems cool sure, but I don't like how the basic mechanics work imo. It seems clunky, and I do not like how you would move your ship like a normal character. It just seems like a re-skin of something that could have been another entire part of Zeah. The community should be entitled have some sort of distinction between each other, rather than 10-15 different types of ships. There are already pets and skill capes for showing off. You don't really get to see those on a boat, unless they add an update to somehow have this (Kree'ara flying over a ship would be pretty sick not going to lie)
Now tell me this before you want to rant against me;
why do you still play?
It's obvious why we're all here; the oldschool style is the nostalgia we wanted, don't lie. However, it should really be a continuation of 2007 and onwards with new content, not a moment frozen in time. If you're stuck in 2007, get over yourself and realize updates do happen. And, if you're here just to play only the new stuff that gets added due to you becoming bored of everything else, you better be ready to realize that everyone has an opinion, and that people do have different opinions than you, whether they be logical or stupid.
I regret not voting for Artisian to pass, because in reality it doesn't even come close to the size of this update, and it had a lot more benefits for the community to flow from skillers to PvM to PvP. The best strategy is to implement a level cap to around 25 to give it a test. I would probably end up voting yes if I could play it myself beforehand.
To the Oldschool developers; you didn't do anything wrong. Just save it for Zeah next time.
