Cut back the amount of worlds. This shouldn't even be polled. and really wouldn't require a poll because it's not changing the game itself, just servers. Jagex should manage the servers, not the players. It's for the better of the game (and especially the wilderness) to cut alot of them out. There are not enough players to maintain even mediocre activity with the amount of worlds we have.

Additional wilderness things that should be polled:

- Make the Chaos Elemental a boss worth hunting. Instead of developing a completely new boss, add useful items you would've given a new boss to the Chaos Elementals drop tables. Make it significantly stronger with drops that rival GWD and are exclusive to the chaos ele.

- Add the Chaos Elemental as a high level slayer task.

- Remove the wilderness ditch


- Add mystic and other mage items (bloods\deaths) as drops for the mage arena NPCs. Zamorak mages could drop black mystic, Saradomin mages could drop blue, Guthix mages could drop a new green mystic, for example. Maybe add mage books and wands as very rare drops aswell.

- Give the anvil at the ruins a 5% experience boost for using it.

- Change the NPCs in the fire\hill giant dungeon in deep wilderness (near mage bank) to contain high levelled slayer monsters with an increased drop rate of high valued items. Also give a slayer XP bonus for killing these monsters. If you ever add new high level slayer monsters then expand this dungeon with the new monsters. High risk, high reward.

- Add an increased amount of rune spawns in the dark warrior fortress and in the deep wilderness. A spawn of 20-50 chaos, natures, deaths, and bloods might give someone an incentive to go out and gather. Also add level 1 rats and other monsters at and around the spawn points to attack players so they can't just hop worlds on the respawn points.

- Randomize the rewards for the muddy chest located in the center of the lava maze to include high levelled items such as dragonstones, diamonds, and rune items. Also make the key rarer to balance this. Currently it gives junk such as mithril dagger, 50 gp, and a ruby. Who would go through the trouble of going there for that?

- Add wilderness tasks to an achievement diary. Things such as recharging prayer points in the wilderness, opening the muddy chest, or killing the chaos elemental.

- Give lava dragons a better chance at dropping visage

- Give the greater demons a 150% bonus experience gain while killing them in the wilderness. Also add better drops to them which drop more frequently than greaters not in the wilderness. (dragonstones, different rune items, etc)

- Introduce a logout timer in the wilderness. Instead of 10 seconds after combat, make it 10 seconds regardless of the player being in combat or not. It's too easy for players to immediately log out after seeing an approaching enemy.


At the end of the day you need to give people real incentives to go into the wilderness. The reason why the EP system worked is because it gave people who wouldn't otherwise enter the wilderness to go there and engage in PvP. It rivaled the best money making methods outside of the wilderness, and sometimes exceeded it. The current updates in the wilderness give almost zero incentive to go there over staying in a safe area with no risk of being killed. The incentives need to be significant, not mediocre. Mediocre incentives result in mediocre activity.

I read your ideas of improving the wilderness and I would say this:

Question: Should you be able to recharge your amulet of glory at the fountain of rune and receive 5 charges rather than the usual 4?

Question: Should you be able to charge your ring of wealth at the fountain of rune and receive 5 charges to teleport to either Miscellania, Varrock town square, Falador Park or to Dondakan in the Keldagrim mine? -> Definitely :3

Question: Should we add ancient warrior armour sets (not the weapons) similar to the armour sets of Morrigan, Statius and Zuriel to the drop lists of the three Wilderness bosses? -> Not so sure, it will force people to hunt them more. I would say YES

Question: Should the lava dragon drop a lava dragon scale which can be used to make extended antifire potions? -> YES, I am up for every herblore update :3

Question: Should we add an npc inside the resource area who can note any item gained from the area for the cost of 50gp per item? I am not skiller, i can't say.

Question: Should the red chinchompas in the Wilderness be changed to become black chinchompas with a hunting requirement of 73 and ranged requirement of 65? These will be slightly more powerful than red chinchompas. This idea I really like :3 YES


P.S. My idea for improving the Wildy -> Wilderness clue

I was thinking about this wildy clue and I would say I will really enjoy completely new wildy clue. Okay let's started.

First one: I was thinking about three (not levels 1, 2, 3) types wildy clue.
The Elder chaos druid scroll, the Thief's swag clue and Dark Mages scrap of book.


It drops only monsters in wildy and it should be more likely its owner. For example If you recieve Thief's swag clue you have to loot chest in Rogue castle for getting next part of clue to get the Thief's swag or steal something valuable from player and survive (new mechanics in wildy that depends on your agility and thieving level).

Looks pretty good, although I don't know about PvP armours.


What's worrying you about them?


I'm worried that the introduction of new armor can be a step forward for the introduction of new OP weapons like the ones they introduced on the other RS (morrigans and statius warhammer etc) which were OP for the type of game-play and mechanics we have on PVP areas and all around RS07 as a whole.
OP weapons would start degrading the game. So, as Mods you should be careful and not poll everything that people say they want because it may not always be good for the game continuity, as it happened with NMZ.

The drops are bad !


What drops and in what way are they bad?


The drops on wilderness and PVP worlds are all bad as whole on all monsters (from the weakest to the strongest), to be competitive with safe worlds/zones they should be increased in value by like a factor of three at least on all regular drops.
There is an high lvl guy on youtube who killed the crazed archeologist for about 15hours and got 0 profit from it.

Btw you could introduce the smoke devils on the wilderness, since the dragon platebody is also a quite useful drop, which the wilderness lacks of, instead of turning other non-pvp zones even more profitable, turning the wilderness empty again =/
