I like the idea of a dragon platebody, but it definetly needs to be available to purchase upon completeing a quest, not as a monster drop. Perhaps something similar to doing dragon slayer and unlocking rune plates for purchase, create a quest that is similar, but more difficult, to unlock dragon plates for purchase by an npc, but also tradeable.
I was thinking something along the lines of RS3. On there, the shards were dropped by TD's and had to be smithed into a platebody. Making it available from a shop would make the street price = shop price.

Farming is a gathering skill too, once you've planted and waited for your precious crops to grow. Please add an herb patch with the incentives below:

:::Farming:::

Speaking of the resource area, farming is a gathering skill too. They should add an herb patch with reduced growth times and double or triple herbs you'd normally get from outside wilderness.

People could mine the iron ores, while waiting for the herbs to grow. They would be risking tons of herbs, seeds, possibly runes for using lunar spells to fertilize. Of course they'd need to have a Leprechaun there to note the harvests.

If there is room to add an allotment patch too, would be nice.

*puts down microscope*

Ah, yes! You've caught me engaging in one of my numerous activities that require higher-level thinking! Whilst I have you here, I'd like to proclaim my undying support for this clever idea!

This suggestion would provide skillers with an abundance of activities to participate in, while still containing an element of danger, as farmers would constantly be risking large amounts of seeds!

It only makes sense that Farming be included in this resource area, as it is, in a sense, a "gathering skill" as well!

Fire what's up man?

I definitely agree with your post and mila too!! Seems like no one ever thinks outside the box but mila..she's something different. My head would explode from all of her suggestions in a good way haha

I love the patch idea for herbs at accelerated growth..Jagex pls add!!

I would rather not have PvP armors introduced into the game. The problem is, there's never been an incentive to fight someone using these armors, since at best you would get a fraction of the value of the armor in coins.

Also, we should try to avoid adding stronger gear into the game, since that just picks away at the oldschool feel. It may just be a few pieces of armor that degrade, but it's a step in the wrong direction that I feel is unnecessary.

If these armors are introduced, they will only be toxic to the PvP environment. Will whips be enough to stand a chance against someone in statius? What if powerful weapons like godswords become a requirement just to stand a chance against the rich player with good gear?

I know combat isn't perfect, but shouldn't we try to preserve the game that we have worked so hard to maintain?

I'm disappointed at the moment. PvP armors.. Just.. no.. Why would you even poll that? I know people have their own opinions about it but I really feel like it's not supposed to be in OSRS. I'm okay with almost everything else but PvP armors are just too OP, one of the reasons I actually play this game is because back in 07 there weren't that many OP armours\weapons besides godswords and dharok, for example. I don't want this because it is ( to me ) the first step into the wrong direction. Just remember why OSRS got released. Not just because a lot of us wanted Pre-Eoc back, but also because we missed these years. Around 06-07. I just want to play the game I love, without it having unnecessary small changes which affect the thing I love the most about it, PvP.

Currently smithing is a worthless skill to train
You make armour, there "The more you know".....

You must be the biggest noob ever even when i first started playing rs back in 2005 i remember the whole point in smithing was to make armour, i dont really like to call you stupid but you really are. I just dont see how theres people out there that dont actually see the things out there that should just make sense the first second they see or hear about it........................................................................

Currently smithing is a nearly useless skill to train. happy?

Smithing needs luv badly ^^

Smoke devils and the boss both going to drop dragon plate? Makes no sense

Similar to the dust devils and the KQ. The boss will have the better drop rate, while you'll have to be really lucky with the smoke devils.

Why does the boss have to drop plate too? im hearing lots of peeps wanting d chain to be upgraded by new shards from smoke devil to stop old content from being devalued. I support.

Shards 1, 2, 3 dropped from smoke devil attached to dragon chainbody would be the best possible solution to prevent redundant content---Seriously needs addressing. We also need item sinks badly.

The same thing happened with Rune boots. People wanted a dragon spike to add to rune boots to make dragon boots, to keep from devaluing rune boots. It didn't pass, which resulted in rune boots to crash to a pathetic price (which is weird because all these "pros" said that they would retain their value). The same will be for the dragon chainbody. It'll become useless content that no one will want.

Make the new slayer monster drop shards (there could be 2-3) at a very low rate, and make the boss drop them at a higher rate. The platebody will require a chainbody, the 2-3 shards, and around 90 smithing to create.

I support this as well, farming toadflax here would be great money and pretty risky to bring 100 seeds which fits perfectly with this theme of RISK vs. REWARD. Feels like all of this content is limited to woodcutters-miners-fishers-pvmers-pkers.
