I'm sure.
However you'll have noticed it's a big enough job getting the existing network to be more DDOS-resilient - expanding to Australia isn't going to help just now. Especially as RuneScape's found over the years that many Australian players got better connections to the USA than to any servers we hosted in Australia.
I would much rather be dcing on 20 ping than 250.

Mod Ash, could we possibly get a 5 second option for the XP drop vanish? 3 Seconds feels too short and 10 seconds feels too long.
More options can be added.
Bear in mind that any dev time spent adding more options here will be dev time
not
spent on everything else players want. So it's worth considering whether you
really
want the extra feature you're requesting, or whether it'd be nice but not a priority.
Well, my assumption was that adding an option for 5 seconds would be a rather quick fix, considering the coding for 3 and 10 seconds is already there. Obviously I don't know the specifics though, but if it's a difficult fix then you shouldn't bother.
But these are things I will learn when I eventually get a job in QA with you guys I suppose
I'm currently stuck in a limbo between 3 and 10, neither quite feels right for me. But I can live with 3 for now

Thank you Ash! The jad pet is so beautiful my eyes are watery and filled with tears. Although, that might be on account of the whole sleep deprivation thing.

Well, that info is available in Stats menu, offline sources, etc. I don't see it being relevant to the actual gameplay of staying in 100 BPM rhythm of RS.
Um... Nope, sorry, I don't understand what you mean by that.
What I meant is that XP drops are relevant to the gameplay ~0.6s ticks, i.e. in keeping up with the 100 BPM rhythm.
In cars you have small trip counter somewhere not clearly visible but you have current speed shown always on big display. Current speed is relevant to driving just like XP drops are relevant to getting XP. But trip counter is not relevant to everyday driving, just like XP counter is not relevant to every day RS training. I'm sure some disagree.

Tacking extra options on at the bottom is easy - and if people want another 8 colour options we can do it very easily indeed. Inserting another option in the middle of the existing would involve rejigging the code that's drawing the menu.

Ah, thanks. That's very nicely explained. I'd got stuck thinking about someone's heart going 100 BPM while playing games.

Does slayer helm work in fight caves when you are on task?
Yes. Maz has coded that task pretty much like any other task, so all Slayer features should be inherited by default.

May i ask for a source?

Perhaps you could add a rainbow colour option, where the text would quickly flash in really trippy colours. That would certainly stop any potential future complaints about the numbers being difficult to see
Joking aside, thanks for the quick response Ash, like always.
