to change the topic slightly - the barrows chest update is very good but there's a slight problem. most of us when we open the chest are being attacked by monsters at the same time so the loot box will only pop up for literally a split second.

i don't know how possible it would be but perhaps make us immune to attacks or something for a few seconds after opening chests? otherwise the update is a bit pointless (unless of course there aren't any monsters around - which is fairly uncommon)

Looks pretty nice all around, but...

Could there be an activity bar put into the Fishing Trawler?
Could we increase the amount of fish you receive? I personally think it should be somewhat lucrative, as the xp is less than mediocre.


Also nerf Zulrah's resource drops.

Here are my thoughts -

Zulrah - While this is a good alternative to adding a new scale dropping monster, I still think there should be some sort of mini-game/skill that can be used to collect low amounts of scales so that it balances it out. The thing is, as it stands, Zulrah will not lose popularity until its nerfed. People will train for it, camp it, and more bots will catch on to it. Adding more and more items. Unlike God wars, Zulrah is simply --- to easy and not risky --- to have such big items. A better solution is a nerf to skilling drops, a skilling monster that can drop scales, and that is that.

Max Cape - People have said it before, it needs to be BIS. It is the end of the end. At a maxed lvl, there is nothing else you wouldn't have already gotten - BESIDES this cape.

Zilyana dropping an Item -- Why her? She has so many drops. 23m Arma Cbow. 3m SS, 50 MILLION Hilt. Where as.... Zammy has a 14m SoT*, 150k steam staff.... oh and not to mention its SUPER GREAT Addy platebody drop.

Zammy needs the extra item. Who knows how much this exilir will cost, could be 1m or could be 10m. That is a nice bonus to zammy.

I realize it makes sense - Roleplaying wise- for the Sara boss to 'enlighten' the Zammy area. But she is already good enough. Zammy needs the upgrade, not her.

Travel option for Bill - Yes. Nice QoL.

Sell 50 - No need. Its just more easyscape, when you can spam sell 10 5 times within 1.5 seconds. Not really worth it. Just allows for easier access to cheap ways to make small profits.

All barrows updates are very good ideas. I don't see anyway to improve these.

In what other previous updates - HAVE YOU EVER - made a boss EASIER? No need. Vet'ion is Vet'ion. You wouldn't make KQ easier, or Zulrah, or any boss. So why Vet'ion?

The proposed Zulrah changes are bad. The reason why those 4 items have tanked so much is because the boss is overpowered in its drop tables.
If you're going to offer this change, then you need to accompany it with a nerf
to other parts of the drop table like magic logs, runite ore, etc. The proposed conversion rates would buff the boss loot even more, which is just ridiculous.

I think max cape is good. Not adding it won't exactly remove the 'no xp waste' mentality or 'elitism' that isn't here already. It's a long achievement so it deserves something. Someone else having a max cape shouldn't affect you and if it does then the problem lies with you.

What made you think it was a good idea to make the unique drops 10k for helm/fang and 50k for the blowpipe? Zulrah is already the most profitable boss out there and atm a fair chunk of the money you get from zulrah is from scales. With such high amounts of scales obtained by chiseling the unique drops you're going to double the amount of scales entering the game. Helm and fang were 300k ea before the blog, your projected 10k scales is 1.8M, and 50k scales for blowpipe is 9M. You're essentially setting minimum values for the unique drops by giving such high scale returns for chiseling the drops. Expect scales to become worthless again and anyone who bought up the drops beforehand making a fortune.

Why should you have to add capes to the max cape anyway, it should be better than most capes especially the fire cape since you can get a fire cape in under an hour where as the max cape takes months upon months of solid skill grinding


And why should non combat skills like farming and mining affect combat? Noone has told me why they should yet..


The Ardougne cloak 4 has the best stab and prayer bonus of any cape in the game and requires the elite Ardougne diaries (90 agility, 91 smithing, 85 farming, and many other SKILL requirements). By your logic we should be polling the removal of all non-combat requirements for the diaries as well. Someone who spends thousands of hours to get a cape should, at the very least, get one that's on-tier with the best in slot cape, but in my opinion it should be best in slot.
