Was a tough choice between motherlode, construction shortcuts and quarry, but voted for motherlode.
I saw a lot of comments about motherlode being afk mining.. iirc that isn't mentioned in the blog so not sure why ppl assume it is afk mining? And I don't know if afk mining would get 75% in a poll anyway..

If it takes the monotonous nature of dropping iron ore/granite while offering a semi comparable experience rate then its AFK enough imo. Of course if it ends up being a giant fight over a finite amount of resources then thats a whole other issue on its own.
Edit: From the actual Devblog text for Motherlode:
The veins will last a random amount of time and take 10 or 15 minutes to respawn, with 5 to 10 veins in the cavern
Sounds like you'd need to pull more than 1 ore out of a vein otherwise you're going to be spending quite a bit of time standing around doing nothing. lol.

I really get depressed then I see all the people who want afk mining. If you want afk mining can you please to this game called rs3, and leave the hard skilling alone on os.

- devalues energy potions
- devalues Agility capes
- devalues weight-reducing armor, e.g. graceful
Flaming arrows
: Who would use these? Pre-EoC had fire arrows, no one used.
- makes no sense - when's the last time you saw a guy freeze from fire?
- insanely high level requirements
- better to just introduce bolas, as it makes sense and is an actual, real-life ranging weapon used for crippling the opponent
Construction shortcuts
: More than just 12 shortcuts, please, or dead content already. Most are pretty useless.
- few useful shortcuts, e.g. Mort Myre island
- no introduction of level requirements
- most of these areas already have agility shortcuts
Motherlode Mine
: Sounds like an old-school Living Rock Cavern.
MY VOTE
- new incentive to mining, woot
- chance for rune at low levels
- new Mining outfit, woot
This content has such woot I can't even describe it.
Explosive Mining
: No. Do I even have to explain how dangerously bizarre it is for a miner to set off explosives whilst in a cavern? This idea makes absolutely no sense and just no.
The Quarry
Nowhere near the level of awesome that the Motherlode Mine introduces. Will be dead content in first month.
- still must sit around waiting for ore respawn
- no Mining or Smithing incentive as it's just utilizing the boring existing game content and offering a sub-par minigame
- who wants to waste supplies on smithing steel and mithril for a minigame with no obvious return rate
- why would I waste points on Smithing XP
Potion Enhancer
: In the long run, this content makes a whole lot of sense.
- Herblore incentive while not affecting potion prices dramatically
- Great use for Slayer and PvM, hopefully not in PvP
- Con levels a bit high, but new incentive for Con
Charcoal Mound
: Just no. No one smiths for profit these days, so I'm not worried about an extra bar or two per inventory. I'd rather Superheat anyway.

Yea, but could still be 1 click, 1 ore, repeat. I'd be fine either way tbh, I agree with you that it's better than dropping iron / granite all the time.
As the OSRS knows, in RS3 ebolas were released alongside Jadinkos to create an item that could be used with range to “freeze” opponents. As we also know, ebolas were a bit overpowered in terms of PVP use in Castle Wars and in the Wild.
