Does the Iban Staff still have to be recharged at the pass? Or does the Dark Mage recharge it too?

It still has to be recharged at the same place as before. Again, we didn't sneak a massive Iban Staff Convenience Redesign into the update. (Although we did quietly add a 'Check-charges' option for people who've got it equipped.)

Do you need to spend 200k every time you want to recharge your Iban staff?

No. The way it's always worked is as follows:

You get the broken staff from the Iban disciples as a drop.
You pay the mage 200k to repair it. (And now you can pay a further 200k to upgrade it.)
It gets a full set of charges when he does this.
When it's run out of charges, you take it to one of the wells in the Underground Pass and recharge it there, for free.
You can do this as many times as you like.
Thus you only have to pay the mage again if you lose your staff and have to get another one repaired.

Atleast give spirit shields a chance to return into the game and not assume they have absolutely no chance in returning. I can guarantee if Godsword required a 75% to be released with godwars that we would not have godswords in this game right now.

Spirit shields shouldn't require 75% to be released with corporeal beast as it was already with corp. It should require 75% for them to get nerfed. This is where OSRS jmods ultimately control our updates by changing an using their powers by picking and choosing how the polls are setup.


If y'all are planning to poll corp and spirit shields not together then why didn't do you do the same for godswords/AGS and godwars ?? Everyone thought those were OP also. First time you poll corp it should be polling corp for its original form no changes.

This isn't just a random assumption based on Jagex having a secret desire to replace the shields with something else. From our point of view it's a piece of cake to do the shields unchanged, and it's far harder to seek a consensus on anything else. However, based on the tirade of "NO OP SHIELDS" comments that come up on our streams, and the messages I keep getting from people who don't want Corp because they don't want the shields... well, one gets the impression that there's something dodgy about those shields.

Now, if we launch a discussion and see plenty of support for the shields as they originally were, that's fine, and we'll happily poll that.

Venenatis is overpowered as of this update. It seems she got a major defense boost. I tried to kill her but she was taking no more than 8 damage (average of 3 damage) from my diamond bolts... even when the bolts spec. I also hit 3x less often with 99 range + range pot, and +177 range atk bonus.

She is near impossible to beat in one trip even when using the hit and run tactics, now that the safespot is removed.

She also randomly warps around.

Venenatis is overpowered as of this update. It seems she got a major defense boost.

I looked over the code changes that were made for this update. There was no change to her stats at all, just her spawn point and max wander distance.
Venenatis has always taken reduced damage unless you lure her into the multi-way area. From your description, it sounds like you're getting the reduced damage.
