Upon death, will your bank be wiped after your killer uses the bank key? Or is it just you lose that one stack of items in bank and w/e isn't protected in inventory?

Extremely excited about this update! Thanks for reading!

You lose whatever you killer takes from your bank so up to one full inventory. I'd imagine they cannot take bank notes but I haven't seen any confirmation of this.

I see...I was misread and thought it was one stack. Thanks for the help!

Anyone asking about more safe zones, please stop. Theres already plenty of them, honestly I think there should be less.

Also, I hope you realize that safe zones aren't exactly "safe," you can still be attacked and killed in a safe zone, its just the fact that there are guards there who can protect you

I don't really think the long-term consequences will be bad.

People talking about how it will kill 'already dying' PvP worlds don't understand. If the amount of people constantly hopping worlds to kill innocent skillers decided to actually kill other willing players, PvP would be instantly revived, but they don't. People only like to pk others that don't want to fight them. That's a problem with player motives, not with the amount of players.

I think the short-term effects of splitting the community mean nothing. Sure people are going to play it to try it out but I don't think a huge amount will stay. And if they do, they probably weren't playing normal 07 that much to begin with. It's going to appeal to people that like private servers and games like DayZ, which isn't a bad thing, because these people probably weren't going to dedicate all the time into getting "real" 99s in the first place. I think they've found a good balance.

I still don't understand why existing acc's can switch their acc's over to deadman mode. I think it should be new acc's like iron men, also there is many flaws and tricks people can do to get 99's so much easier if this is the case. OR IF IM WRONG SOMEONE PLEASE CORRECT ME. I enjoy eating waffles for breakfast, #frenchtoastisfortheweak. Also, OSRS is k :) .

"We saw how popular Ironman was and Deadman mode will give you another unique… but more deadly way to play Old School. Members will be able to play on a dedicated Deadman Server using their existing account and experience the dread you felt when you first entered the Wilderness everywhere."

This makes no sense at all, you'll have tons of new players coming back see this and just leave, just because i've barely touched osrs (like 2 hours played?) people with max stats will beable to instantly kill me as soon as im out a safe zone doing quests for example, deadman mode should be fresh accounts for everyone (you can use your osrs account but exp is 0) its 5x exp there is NO GRIND, the amount of wealth already in osrs is disgustingly high for how old it is, everyone should be on the same footing, if you wanted new players this is not the way to go about it, and the same can be said for people who USED to be members like myself thoughout all my childhood and a few adult years. Guess i will not be coming back to runescape afterall if this is the case. Sure let us use the same account but the same experience? this is a complete joke and im glad i left in 2010-2011.

The game needs:
A fresh economy.

Existing accounts with membership can be used but they start with all level 1 skills / 10 hp (just like everyone else!)

Not to mention everyone having certain quests / diaries / OP gear right from the moment the servers are up. If this is the case why cant i use my RS3 account on deadman? it makes literally no sense jagex.

Final notes: It isn't deadman mode if you're letting people keep existing wealth with skills and just letting them transfer over, do your game justice and give this "unique experience" you're on about in the post.

YOU JAGEX need to think this though clearly whats to stop someone from training in 07scape then transfering over with a maxed main? awful awful idea.

Everyone starts fresh. Level 3, only what you get from tutorial island with a brand new economy. I think you're right about the"flaws and tricks" part because of clans and mules though.

Every account starts at level 3, brand new economy, and only what you get from tutorial island. Hope to see you there!
