It's rather like the boss kill logs, where you might have killed a million dust devils before we added the counter, but the counter has to start from 0.

Pure-friendly updates really don't have a good record of passing polls. Asking the same one over and over again only makes sense if the community's attitude appears to be changing. On this, it doesn't, and we have things to poll that have a better chance of passing.
