I am amazed that people on page 1-6 can't even read or listen to what the jmods said about the boss slayer upd.

They said late summer. Please, finish your school instead of wasting their time to reply.

seems like a pretty light month for the vast majority of players.

It says the dedicated servers are going to be open for everyone, are they basically going to be a beta server or something were you can do what ever you want? Or are we just going to be limited to the 5 vs 5 thing.

What could possibly require more skill then pvp lmao.

Pvp is what built this game, that is what people did outside of skilling before there was stuff like pvm. But you would not know that since you started this game in like 2012.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm finding the bias towards PvP, high level PvM and streaming very boring now. It would be nice to see some other types of updates. Skilling, quests, minigames for example. Not interested for the updates this month at all.

To everyone whining about the Slayer update, saying it probably won't be until August: You should know that it takes a long time to pull off a quality update of that size. They said late summer - you should expect mid-September, rather than beginning of August. You will just be disappointed again next month.

I am not worried about the Slayer update, but I am annoyed that other areas are not being worked on. Some of us are not interested in PvP whatsoever. Yes, the Duel Arena needs improvements, but focusing this entire month on making staking easier is absurd. Please improve areas of the game that make us honest money (skilling, please?). The only viable options at the moment (for steady income) are high level pvm (Slayer bosses, Zulrah), Runecrafting, and maybe Hunter. Yes, there are good ways to gain wealth with other skills, but they just simply do not compare. I am not asking you to make Firemaking a 10M gp per hour skill; I would simply like maybe a new herb to farm with a new *useful* potion to make, or a new set of chests to steal from, or a new skill-incorporating mini-game that has some kind of desirable reward.

Note: I am not mentioning the Tournament because it is a temporary update; it is not relevant.
