^ Ye, and how much did continued rare item get? O wait.. it wasn't polled.

The poll asked if you wanted rares to be discontinued, it did not reach 75%. Which means, they will be continued. Why is this so difficult for you people to understand?

Perhaps you don't quite understand that we're voting about historical content. You might be interested to read my arguments here , not gonna repeat them in this topic.

Well, it doesn't matter now, and i'm not going to read them because it's too late, the decision has been made. Jagex isn't going to repoll because a few people don't like it. If y'all don't like it, don't play. Simple as that. Should the results have been for rares to be discontinued, then the players who didn't would be complaining. Another thing about that, it would be like EoC all over again, where rares would be like 2b gold.

Then, what's the point of playing if you can afford anything and everything?

I want our community to come to a consensus so that an update can be added carrying the support of an overwhelming amount of players. This to ensure the survival of our game. Jagex is able to make mistakes, as you can see in the other game.

This community just came to a consensus, on EVERYTHING on the poll with supermajority support on it all. The fact that they didn't and couldn't concerning the 'rares' suggests, quit strongly, that they never would.

All questions, all polls, require 75% support so that seems more than reasonable as a means of ensuring the survival of the game.

There will always be some who throw a fit and 'ragequit' when they don't get their own way.. but there's really not many of them.

Elf, I had quite a lot of my ideas go up to be polled in rare poll 3, 5 got more/= support then discontinued did...im not yelling at Jagex to use those ideas because they didn't get the 75% needed, so the back up plan won...

on certain things the community can pull together and support certain things, there were points in last weeks poll were there were 95% yes in most of them.

and looking at the back up plan from a different pov then I had before...it does make most people happy and those reasons can be found in the first post of this thread

What is the point of wasting my time by walking around the runescape world in search of rare items that spawn randomly.. When i can obtain them during the corresponding holiday seasonal/events using minimal to no effort at all?

I don't mind this idea tbh, but wat bothers me is that, rares may even be in the wilderness or in areas that requires completion of certain quests. No point in getting a rare from the wilderness, just to get pked by a player, that may just take from the ground after killing u. That's quite unfair in my opinion. Join Altar today!
