Sent mine in last night, its basically a Tower Defence game which uses the skills of Construction, mining, woodcutting and fire making with 32 rounds of mobs already in the game. Although its killing monsters its a skilling minigame and the higher level of those 4 skills the better chance you have of completing all the rounds.
That sounds amazing!
Would love to see how you designed that, it could potentially be really great
Warcraft 3 Maul or Wintermaul style would be super sweet
It was based on a standard map with a portal at one end and a shrine on the other, using the same mob mechanic as pest control, mobs focus to get to the shrine in the shortest possible route so build technic can change the route.
There's different kind of trees to the left and different ores to the right, towers start from oak to magic and the ores effect the damage, so for example adding mith ore to a maple tower will make the ammo splash (just an example). You can lay fires which if mobs run over get dealt firedamage similar to the poison mechanic.
Thers 32 rounds with 3 boss rounds at 12, 22 and 32..Round 1 will be like 17 Goblins and round 9 will be 12 lessers demons and round 27 could be 7 mith drags, also i Was thinking along the lines of round 12 could be triple KQ in the first form, round 22 could be all 4 GWD Bosses and 32 could be a double Jad with healers. There's obviously alot more to it but we shall have to wait and see if it gets picked to poll : )
