About Splashing and AFK Guthans, Yes I would say that it is a small bit op, and yes I do them here and then like most other players, because I was told that we are allowed, but are they really that op that they need to be taken out of them game? Or nerfed? Because if you think about training attack, STR and DEF if not this all people with do is just go bandits and spend a lot of GP there, magic just go blood barrage or ice barrage at monkeys, range just go chin. If we take methods like splashing out all it does is makes it so that really wealthy players can train their accounts up nice and easy at a LOT of XP per hr. and the people who don't spend their days at the duel arena and make there GP by RC, bossing, clues, killing monsters and more can’t get there skills up there without spending months grinding and keep missing good updates like the new slayer one, new boss's when they are VERY good GP, so if you really want to balance the game, why not also think about changing some of the following: duel arena, chins, trident, rune pouch, ice barrage - blood barrage, SGS, AGS, Blow pipe, cannon, serpentine helm

Well one thing you missed is how these "wealthy" players obtained their wealth. Hopefully they put the hours in to earn this GP and since they have done that they can "afford" to blow the runes/gp/potions/chins to earn these fast exp methods. You're also missing the point that this consumes items from the game increasing the value of potions/chins/blood rune/etc. Also to efficiently train at ape atoll you have to be actively clicking, moving bones, r*aggroing. Not just AFKing in the NMZ. Those older fast EXP methods were earned from GP, and thus are not overpowered. Instead of NMZ where you don't need anything but an armor set and still get points (thus turning into hard goods) to enter to game.

This is true and a good point. There is more than one argument I can make but that is a good point so for now I won’t but for now I won’t because I don’* want to just bash on things like the duel arena because for now that’s not what topic but maybe one day it is and we can re bring it up :-)

I don't get why everyone is blaming jagex for all of this. They didn't one day decide "hey let's get ddosed". If companies and agencies like the FBI, Microsoft, Sony are having trouble stopping these kinds of attack then what do you expect jagex to do?

It's not like jagex can pull some magical solution outta thin air. relax guys and go read a book or something. runescape is just a game. instead of sitting here crying about getting ddosed, why not go read a book or clean up the house a little?

jagex is doing what they can and just because they don't tell you step by step what they are doing doesn't mean they aren't trying hard to get everything back to normal.

For the people crying about how jagex should tell us what their doing to fix this i say that you need to use some common sense.

if you were under attack would you really the world what you're doing to defend yourself? If jagex started telling everyone what their doing don't you think for a second that the attacks would adapt to their solution and most likely get worse?

common sense goes a very long way people. Stop complaining and go spend time with family and friends and read a book or something. seriously a few days off this game might do some good =)

Honestly, I don't the diconnects as some players are describing.
German servers tend to be the better ones.

I think it's great that Jagex has heard us, and will be improving the servers due to the DDossing.
We OSRS players will keep playing.

I really dislike splashing, as it gives players the ability to AFK. I think players should put in the time to develop there account seriously.

Hope to hear good news on the next update!

Zulrah is by far the most consistent way to make the most amount of money on runescape, nothing else even comes close. You can make close to 2-3 million an hour at this boss, making previous methods like runecrafting or god wars obsolete. A new boss should not become the only efficient way to make money in the game.

Very glad to see that you literally discussed every single problem with this game (well.. except wildy ditch. That also needs to be removed, but whatever).

Splashing and NMZ: This is obvious. Needs to be nerfed because in the long-run all it will do is ruin the game. You can't possibly allow this to continue. What the majority of players say should go, UNLESS it can directly damage the game by rapidly devaluing skill levels and harming game integrity, which these two aspects of the game do to a huge extent.

Botting/Cheating: Yes. There can never be enough bans for botting. Ramp it up even more. I think almost any legit player would agree, if polled, that botting = perm ban, no exceptions at all. Temp bans are not appropriate for botting. Just something to consider. Temp bans make it harder to deal with bots because the accounts you temp ban will probably continue to bot anyway, so having to catch them 2 or 3 times to dispose of them is just hindering progress. Lastly, main accounts that bot are just as bad as gold farmers and deserve the same punishment.

Wyverns/Zulrah: I think Skeletal Wyverns could be nerfed slightly. Not that high Slayer requirement, but they are more difficult to kill and should yield an hourly profit of at least 300k an hour. 600k+ is a bit much, though. As for Zulrah... yeah... this definitely needs a nerf. Zulrah is broken, and makes things like God Wars and Dagannoth Kings obsolete. Skeletal Wyverns = small nerf, Zulrah = big nerf.
Long live the Wilderness. Long live risk vs reward in PVM. Long live 2006.
