Lol if most people had the choice then they'd go for 2009-2011 Runescape, but had to settle for 2007 because it's the closest they could get to it, they don't care about the old school nostalgia feel of it, they only want the pre not ****** looking graphics (not 07, like 2011) and the old combat system, they don't care about anything else.

LOL and you know that how? Get out of here kid and go play your EOC. This game is called oldschool for a reason and is dated back in 2007 for a reason. People wanted this old game back. That's all. Stop with the new updates, leave it alone

Here's a message to you Jagex :

Do whatever you want with the Website. But, please add a toggle so players can revert from the 'OldSchool' look to the new look that is being proposed in this thread. I'm guessing on a Business outlook, you can allow the 'new look' to always appear to new players first, (then if they want to later) they can toggle the 2 looks, (which would be a button at the bottom of the Website) for which suits them, and which they prefer best.

Thanks Jagex, and goodluck with any updates that you are going to be developing/(have been developing) for OldSchool from a loyal player.

Personally i hate how you guys are trying to make Old school look like EOC's main page. The whole point of OSRS was to KEEP that nostalgic feeling. Notice how i capitalized KEEP. We do not want updates that remind us of EOC. That was the whole reason why we OSRS players decided to play the older version. I have been a player since 2007 and quit as soon as EOC was implemented because you guys tried imitating WOW and LOTRO. So just keep in mind the closer you guys update things to be to EOC the more players will quit again just like before.

That design is hideous, disgusting RS3 crap.

Jagex is the only successful company I know that consistently makes every possible error humanly conceivable, over and over and over without significant consequence. That's why they make stupid decisions... The addictive nature of their product insulates them against the backlash any other company would receive if they dared be as stupid as this.

That website design is trash, just like the RS3 website. It isn't oldschool, it isn't attractive. It's just heavy, slow-loading circuitous spit polish that will slow down my machine while offering absolutely no substantive improvement in quality. Just like every update to RS3, now it's coming to OSRS.

PFFFFT. I can't even believe I'm surprised. I can't believe I still pay money...

It'd be better to tell Jagex on what they should work on with the Website, rather than attacking Jagex for doing so. They can easily add a toggle on the bottom of the Website which would save your preferences on what, 'look' of the Website you would personally want to view. However, as I'm sure this project is going to go through, you should give them some criticism on the Website that they are proposing rather than giving an anecdote which doesn't really mean anything to them.
