This defeats the OLD SCHOOL feeling don't you think Jagex?

Please keep the Current Layout

I like it but I would like to see the 'Join Now' moved to the right and in it's place add a 'Play Now' - because I can see myself doing it now, i'll click on the 'Join Now' mistaking it for the 'Play' button which is a bit too out of the way.

But then again, once Re-sizable comes out - i'll be playing on the client anyway.

dont particularly like it looks far to like rs3 just recoloured brown O_o

No support. My only reason is that it does not look Old School enough, which is important. The design is too much like RuneScape 3. Long live the Wilderness. Long live risk vs reward in PVM. Long live 2006.

I do not like this at all. It's one thing to re-release the old game, the barebones version everyone knows and loves, but by redesigning the website brings, in a way, the "new look" version of Runescape that is now Runescape 3.
Since many of us aren't playing that version because we hate it, why imply that you will eventually turn OSRS into RS3? That then will give two of the same game and that's idiotic.

Yes, I know that reasoning isn't the best, and that scenario probably won't happen, but you can easily understand my point.

We came to OSRS for the nostalgic look and feel of the game. Updating the website takes that away.

I quite like this however I have a few picky comments and a few suggestions if any web designer has any time to implement

Blue navigation bar:
I feel that old school is starting to establish a red colour scheme so I feel having a blue navigation bar isn't very old school. It's fine for RS3 but that has a big blue colour scheme through out the website and game menu screens.

No pillars:
I feel that pillars along the sides of the website (also the log in screen and main game screens) are very iconic, the fact these has been removed I dislike. So can we have some pillars along the sides of the website.

World select:
It looks good, however I feel it's less relevant because chrome and other browsers don't (or soon won't) support java (and therefore old school). Plus since we have a button to change world on the login screen I've not used that webpage and I doubt many others have.

Highscores:
I don't like that the skills have been put into a drop down menu, I'd much prefer they all stay in a list on the side like in the current osrs highscores. The RS3 page has the drop down menu and it's terrible to use.

Mobile:
Same navigation bar idea as before, red is our colour and blue is rs3.
However I'm unsure how popular the mobile version of the website will be, you can't play the game on mobile so it'd purely be for checking the highscores and new posts.

Mobile highscores:
Similar to before, I dislike the drop down menu for the skills, however it might be more necessary because mobiles provide less space for lists. However I still feel having a list of all the skills is much better.

Future features
Forums & mobile forums.
I'd like to see an old school skin of the forums.
& I'd like to see a mobile version of the forums

Highscores.
I'd like to see more, or at least know that it'd be possible to easily implement, more tables on the highscores. Certain things such as minigames have been suggested many times. RIP Forums

Finally we have signatures in the surprise forum update. I'm Lewis, I play Old School & I've been playing since 2005.

Keep it ORIGINAL I do like that the new proposed design still somewhat keeps the oldschool logo BUT if you change the old logo and the whole old website you guys are just going to continue to try and make oldschool more newschool the more you change a old version of a game the more and more it becomes a new version of an old game which is not how it is suppose to be RS3 is for the NEW changes not OLDSCHOOL it has that name for a reason

Runescape before the eoc doesn't have the "Old School" sign that made it look inferior...

Change everything back to how it was pre-eoc. The pre-eoc runescape is the real Main Game that people didn't rage years of war against, unlike the eoc, why put the "Old School" logo on the main game? Take it off.

hey to be honest i think the new design looks bad. i like the oldschool look. the guy am quoting about being about to toggle between the design right now and the new one sounds like an amazing idea!! I would love the option to keep the normal design since everything else about oldschool is changing into a different game.
