Could you provide more details as to why Chrome will not be supporting Java anymore? A bit of Googling hasn't really turned up much and I'm wondering why such a thing would be implemented.

Jagex isn't really in a position to comment on what Google does or doesn't choose to do with their own browser.

Fortunately our downloadable client means you can keep playing anyway. It might even be good for stability, since people will more likely to be using the same version of Java to play the game once they're using our client rather than whatever version of Java their browser's calling.

So this is where OSRS goes downhill.

It's now officially pay to win, grinding skills like runecrafting to earn money mean nothing now that every kid and their mom's credit card can "earn" all their buyable 99's with 5x less effort.

I've wanted to go for max total for a while, but now I don't know if there's even a point.

Jagex, you've just expanded the gap between players who put true effort into building their accounts, and people who buy their way ahead.

Ash wtf.. WHY are they 2m?! That's so expensive!
You can buy them for whatever players decide to sell them for. The 2M is only a suggestion and will adapt to the price set by players.
You will never get anything for free. Anyone claiming that is trying to scam, lure or hijack you.

Coins in OSRS are a bit harder to get than coins in RS3; the games' economies are very different.

Remember, you can ignore the suggested prices and offer whatever you like on the GE. If you think it's not worth 2m, don't offer 2m.

Will Ironman accounts ever get access to bonds? Ironman accounts should at least be able to put items/gp into a GE "coffer" or "buffer" till it adds up to a value of a bond and then trades for ONLY A BOND. You couldn't get anything except a bond back, which you could trade with no one. I see no issue with that but envision lots of design issues with the "wiggle room" on pricing.

If not, will Ironman accounts ever get access to membership benefits so it doesn't seem unfair we can't get free membership just by playing? If you decide not to do this what incentive does an Ironman have over the novelty? Less and less Ironman accounts will be made because people will realize they can get free membership by playing a regular account.

Thanks

Question: Do bonds give the same amount of subscription time as a normal subscription fee would provide?

I wonder because prices for membership seem lower through bonds now (:

Thanks

If you would read or look into it, bonds are only 14 days.
