Adding a cluescroll to the dark beasts and abyssal demons drop table is good enough you don't need to make it so both the rare drops of clues and whips appear at the same drop.
If we were setting out to reduce the chance of getting a whip or dark bow:

1. This wouldn't make much difference, since clues are uncommon drops.

2. It might be more effective to help those items leave the economy in other ways, and not just throttle the supply.

In pre-eoc when 2 players hit each other at the same time the hitsplats appeared at the same time and both players could die. Is it really impossible to make it like that while keeping the last hit random at duel arena?
I'll ask the engine team about it again.

You must of not played actual runescape back in 2007. When jagex makes changes to minigames with easy xp and with no warning or consent people are gonna quit actually a vast majority will since legacy mode is on the horizon as well. A move like this could kill 07...This will basically be an exact repeat when they ruined pest control in 07.

I don't see a problem with all the pre eoc people moving to rs3 for legacy but honestly it wont kill 2007 game as there are people out there who actually love this game.. for the game and not the updates.. like me so I know for a fact it wont die.. Less people will probably play but not enough to make the game go extinct. They would have to remove worlds when a massive population does drain though if it goes that far.

i like the suggestion saxxxo mentioned earlier about being able to equip armour and weapons from when inside bank ^^

nice updates btw. i also read somewhere that you wish to take more stuff inside game like voting etc instead of on the webpage. what would you think about making varrock herald (the newspaper sold in varrock) to contain the latest news whenever you do an update? idk if it would be too much effort for you though, but would be pretty cool(=

and the special attack orb i have been bugging you about letting you activate special attack upon clicking on it.

and umm if you want to add on wishlist for future making farming amulet glow yellow, red and green depending on if ur patch is still growing, dead/sickand and ready. possibly also being able to attach more patches to it depending on ur mage/farming lvl? also being able to enchant it so you can teleport to trollheim herb patch would be cool. reward from somewhere? =D - love the farming updates!! my favourite skill ;)

If you stop to think about legacy:

Legacy and Eoc can never exist side by side, it simply won’t work. Especially with jagex at the reigns (excluding 07 team, they have definitely shown vast improvement in my eyes with how they have handled the development of 07) .
From the PvP aspect it will be an utter disaster, and people forget that the pvp has been totally ruined by overpowered weapons, stupid tweaks and failed balancing. Even if it is playable Legacy will never be able to compete with 07.

People really shouldn't put too much faith in legacy mode, 07 will always trump it.

The whole reason so much pre eoc supporters out there support pre eoc is.....cuz it has updates and the pre eoc combat.. 07 wont at all trump it or the amount of people online all times would be at least 100k again.

The special attack orb would be to much of an improvement to the old school game. It would effect pking and pvming in the wrong way. Just like how it doesn't show when your enemy is poisoned or not when using a poisoned weapon, so should the special weapon be the same. You should never know when your specials ready it has never been like that on the main game or in old school as it would have more negative effects. It wouldn't be skill no longer in pking as you wouldn't have to worry about looking what your special bar is at, it removes the whole fun.
