Chocolate bunny pet… I never really believed in the slippery slope argument for pets but this is really just overdoing it. Chompy pet was pushing it (I don't even remember it being mentioned in the dev blog) and chocolate bunny pet is just pushing the boundaries even further. Lets not turn this into pet scape please. Keep pets rare and limited to bosses.

I like the idea of the new Easter event. I'm not really keen on the pet idea but only as they visually annoy me and clutter up the place and they won't be used after a few days (which I guess will make them less annoying as they will be in the bank).

Hmmmm I want to think of a good alternative but alas I cannot. Hyperion ´s No. 1

Why not do it like ::togglerooftop used to be

For example:

::hop320 would quickhop you to world 320

This way, i imagine its only a quick job, and people would be reasonably able to compete with users of certain unnamed cheatclients

Thoughts?

This would finally make the game fair lol, the reason for this not being done is, we have pvp worlds and if you could quick hop like that, people could get lured easily. so no, what we need is a lobby screen.

We can absolutely poll the pet separately however we would also need an alternative if it did not pass. I'll have a chat with Mod Ash when he gets in tomorrow and see where we might want to go with an alternative.

If I may suggest another reward then: a living chicken feather hat. It moves on your head and sometimes it adds a egg to your inventory when worn (similary to Ava's accumulator atracting iron stuff). Once a certain amount of eggs have been given, this will stop so cakes aren't made too easy. Bird eggs or the two RS classic chocolat eggs could be given this way too.

And another question, since this is about a f2p event. Will f2p be able to vote as well?

Yes for the event, no for the pet.
I think that pets should mean you achieved something (like a skill cape) or were very lucky.
Pets should be a special thing that not everyone has. It would be okay if you had to spent a ton of time to get the pet, but you usually can do holiday events in a few minutes. Lets not spam the game with meaningless followers.
Just my opinion, i respect if you think differently!

Edit: Please poll the pet in a separate question!
