Most people play this version for the combat system, but still want some features that RS3 has, most of which are for convenience or efficiency (trading in this instance). The two games will always be different due to their combat systems, so there is a point to this version. It's still old school whether it has RS3 features or not. .

I noticed this: When you** sold something on GE & then logg out & back logg in, theres not the message saying "you got items waiting at GE".

Is it possible to get that message saying IF there is something waiting (coins if sold someting, items if bought something). That would be neat to see :)

With this G.E update.
As you'll recall, this update was put to a poll where players were invited to decide whether they wanted it added to the Old School game. 76% is a pretty big majority. But I'm sorry you didn't like the poll outcome.

We could refuse point blank to do any update that's ever been done in RS3, even if most the customers keep asking us to do it, but that'd be kinda odd.

It does notify you if an offer's completed or made more progress while you were offline, but it's currently not bringing up extra messages to remind you to collect stuff that was already there. We could add one if you like, although I'd be concerned about it getting spammy given how often people like to hop worlds.

OSRS is also more grinding skilling & somewhat harder solo bosses (solo gwd for example where ya get like 1-10 kills/trip & on rs3 you can get easily +2h trips).

Got'*ha. And i did notice when my offer was completed, its similar to rs3. But thats just something I WOUDL PERSONALLY like to have here, giving a notice if theres been some completed stuff whilst ive been offline.

OldSchool is more like "diy" or Iron Man in RS3. First of all, the G.E. was a feature of RuneScape 2 too, before RuneScape HD. This update is just like Trading posts..this is not the G.E. like RS3. So this G.E. does not affect negatively the actual game. the wisdom of my words, come from my own balanced mind.
Do not trust on your own tricky mind. Just... make it useful.

Could you make it so that active buying and/or selling offers can be seen for an item of choice? Like the lists of offers you can see right now with the trading booths and **bez. This will make the GE much more transparent and it will give people an idea what's going on with the prices of items. Also it will make price manupilation much more visible for players. I think this update is quite necessary.
