Don't worry guys, you will all get your say and we will honour the vote of course. It is the first time we have tried something like this so it is all new to us too. We're more than happy to hear everything you have to say and appreciate you taking the time to tell us.

Some of you do need to respect differing opinions rather than throwing insults though, it's not great to read and doesn't help any of your arguments.

Mat.

The balancing calculations will be affected by your decisions on what new items will be added as rewards, so we can't do them before the poll. As with many minigames, I don't expect it'll be perfectly balanced to everyone's satisfaction first shot; things can be tweaked up or down in future updates according to player feedback. We're not just going to stick the game out there and forget about it.

Returning to some earlier points:

- If someone does sit there grinding on a low-end Count Draynor for hours and hours to get item rewards, it's only a problem if they're getting items much faster than they could have done grinding in, say, the flax field or essence mine.

- Yes, we're not requiring 75% agreement on the town where the minigame takes place or the name of the minigame. I'd like to let you guys choose; the alternative is that I put the game in my chosen site of Yanille and challenge you all to get 75% support for moving it to Falador. And if that doesn't pass, we have to run another poll challenging you to get 75% support for moving it to Ardougne. And on and on until you get 75% support for something. I don't think that would be a better way of offering alternatives. The actual important decisions - should the game exist? should it introduce new items? - are still covered by the 75% policy.

(I chose Yanille because there's a handy patch of land near the bank that would do nicely for this game.)

This update will devalue runecrafting...Expect prices of runes to crash.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and people should respect that, it is all personal preference.

That said, I shall still be voting no to this particular update. It's a shame though as there has clearly been a lot of time and thought gone into this...which is nice to see! :)

@ Mod Ash

So we have no idea how much it will cost before voting the game in.

Also still regarding the Herbalist in Nardah

Can she theoretically change my 10,000 noted 3 potions into 4 potions and give me back the empty vials.

Will she do this instantaneously and will it be free,

and is she just doing what the G.E. guy does in the main game?

My View may be different from yours or Jagex but please don't flame.

The Game: From my Understanding the game would be just repeating the same quest boss monsters that we killed at a lower combat. Dose not sound like bossing to me unless they hit harder with even higher combat. I know they would add the dragon from Dragon slayer quest and I was able to kill it at 32 combat. If the plan is not to make the monsters harder then there is no need for this.

The rewards: I think Jagex don't quite get the rewards they offing are just not well thought out and players will not like them. I would think better reward posabilty would be a magic box that gives you a chance to win Items from Bronze - Dragon better items being less of a random chance. Also add Dragon Items like Dragon Pic ax witch a lot of players seam to want. This magic box could come in different type like:

Skill Items: A chance to win a pack of items that could help you in a skill. (EXMP: You pick a cooking Magic box it could hold 100 shrimp -100 Raw Sharks)

Magic: A chance to win runes or Magic Gear

Range: A chance to win Range gear and Range items (arrows bolts)

Melee: Bronze - Dragon

These boxes could cost different amounts with higher chance of getting better rewards with more points.

Added Ideas:

The magic box could have a chance of winning nothing (to lower the chance of high reward)

I agree that its nice to see some thought going into the game and this would work for me if it was used simple for combat XP etc, and no other rewards were given.

It would also work better for me as a dangerous game without a fee. (I have no idea if I could afford it as a case in point)

but as you say its all personal opinion.

Just to clarify I think this would have been a good update and much better than what is currently being put on the forums, mainly stuff that is already in one version of the game. New and exclusive content is a much better way to go than just making parts of the current game easier*

*My own personal opinion and of course what makes one thing easier for one person does not make it easier for another.

That's why there is seperate poll questions for rewards like that! It seems bit pointless to me fact people voting no to this if they don't want teleport scrolls for example. Again you can vote no to scrolls itself, not minigame.

I like the ideas, but not the armour reward. Its just making the game easier, again. Whipping abbys with that armour without using Guthans, food or pray potions. Slayer will be easy and cheap to train.

I would like to see some content added that actually makes the game much harder, with better rewards, but those rewards should not affect the economy or making something easier. (untradeables, like rapiers, made whips drop (economy) and made the game easier. (better hits, higher accuracy).

I would really like this game to get harder to play.

for example slayer mobs who actually hit trough prayer, or do different attack styles, ranged/mage. But have a good loot. (Dragon pickaxe?)

Dont introduce untradeable armour/weapons. It will devalue any other weapons, so the game will crash.

About the rares, they're untradeable anyways. So who cares?
