At least you could do is read the blog even properly. I think this is why people vote against it and they have so negative attitude towards anything updates. You are quiting at somepoint anyway this rate so why do you even waste your time in Osrs?

I don't understand! It's 2007 runescape and it's NOT supposed to have any content updates! I humbly beseech you, don't try to change it! I just wanted my old beloved 07 back and here is it and again it's going to be ruined! Not again! Please, i beg you for just letting it be! Please don't do it again!

I beg all human beings for your apprehension! Please vote NO on this pole! It is supposed to be Runescape 07 and nothing else!

I think this is stupid, the only thing they should be bringing into osrs is what was already here by 2007. It is also starting to look like we need some really old school Mods in charge of our old school game....

To be fair.. these mods ARE Old School... and I don't think they're 'trying' to do damage to the game.

It isn't the onion cave itself that poses the potential for problems.. and I hope that once they iron out the 'rewards' problems, that they will consider repolling the cave, with the full details of the rewards (including any 'reworks' to the rewards that might be helpful).

I have to say I agree with SunshineShel , We came back to play on OSRS because we didnt want all this other stuff that was added on after, A Mod that was around during that time would be excellent to have working on this now! I can think of a few things that I would like that wasnt around in 07 ( ie : enchanted water tiara , slayer helm , DBoots ) But if it meant changing the game that I came back to play then I am definitely good without them. People are asking for alot of things that wasnt around in 07 not realizing how much it could possibly change the game ALOT of us came back for. Maybe just stick to the real 07 basics , find an 07 Mod to work it and deal with minor things. If you're not fckin, feeding, or financing me then your opinions about my life really don't matter ;)

Sorry but what's the point of calling this version Oldschool Runescape if you're going to add completely new content? On top of that the reason why I disliked the last years of newscape was because so many achievements got devaluated. It's like you're going down the exact same path again.

I don't like the whole idea of updating the game again, even when it's like those small changes (decant to 4 dose for example). Adding completely new content is a big no and then offering a reward like rc altar tablets... that's a joke right?

I know whether it will be implemented or not depends on the vote and yes, I have voted. But I was shocked by the results which is why I wanted to share my opinion here. Most of the people I hang out with share the same opinion so it's strange to me how a vote like this can get an approval rate this high.
Back in the day when most of my friends and I were getting annoyed by the constant devaluation of achievements it had come to a point where we just didn't want to play anymore. I'm afraid if an update like this gets approved history will just repeat itself. Pity.
