As many others posted - adding no-effort spades to Barrows just doesn't fit in with Old School. There's a bank in Burgh de Rott which is really useful when unlocked for this very situation. It adds value when there's occasional extra effort involved - removing effort, removes value and involvement.

With all these eleven new unrestricted(as in by item/runes use/Magic level or Quest unlock) teleport locations - even with a cool-down, so many new locations easy and for nothing to teleport to from anywhere, it's very bad for devaluing runes and current jewelry. After all, most times you don't need to teleport again for the cool-down period, since skilling/slaying/etc. takes longer than the cool-down.

I can see the teletab makers being unhappy, once these 11 free teleport locations get added.

In particular, it could lead to abuse and annoyance when people piggie-back off it and leave without playing the minigame.

Instead, these teleports-to-a-minigame could actually become reward items you regularly purchase with minigame tokens - but still include a cool-down. That way there would be the cost(insured involvement) of playing the minigame balancing the teleporting to a particular minigame area only.

Bonecrusher is overpowered, for no effort there's free, endless Prayer XP quicker than someone without it. Meaning particular people end up with faster, higher prayer making it even more unbalanced where normally those people wouldn't have got free Prayer XP while normal slaying/PvMing. Old School should mean working for something, not unlocking and then free-Prayer-XP-forever doing nothing extra.

Blast Furnace being lowered to 30 Smithing is too much, as someone above said, 50 Smithing requirement would at least mean it'd have an achievement feeling. A bank there is just too close and not in keeping with Old School planning for such game-affecting benefit of half-the-coal required to all ingots. Apart from that, Blast Furnace is easily solo-able.

Lower the amount of people required to rebuild the temple, or scale it based on the current amount of people present so the difficulty is dynamic as more people join.

Allow us to simply burn pyre logs anywhere, as we would with normal logs.

Add a draconic visage to the highest tier chests, but at a very very rare percentage.

Scale the crafting experience received from re-building the temple based on crafting level, making it just as rewarding for high level crafters as low levels alike.


TZHAAR FIGHT PIT FEEDBACK


Create a point system in which you gain points based on kills and extra bonus points if you win the round. The points will be used to upgrade and unlock new content such as:

Furious necklace - enchanted onyx necklace that increases magic damage by 10%

Upgraded obsidian shield - the upgrade makes it degrade to dust - +20 slash\+20 stab\+20 crush additional offensive bonuses on existing bonuses.

Upgraded obsidian cape - the upgrade makes it degrade to dust - + 10 additional defensive bonuses.

Upgraded obsidian maul - the upgrade makes it degrade to dust - 5% additional damage when using aggressive strength mode, stacks with berserker necklace. Requires 80 strength to wield.

Upgraded tzhaar magic staff (dont know the name) - the upgrade makes it degrade to dust - 20% chance to ignore magic defense bonuses of opponent. Requires 80 magic to wield.


^ All of the degradable items will last 10 hours then degrade into dust.

Pest control is fine, use iemz pc clan chat, I've never been on where there weren't multiple boats going. Its still plenty a live.

Why not poll removing worlds to increase the density?

I found recently it very difficult to find a world for slaying Fire Giants without being over-crowded.

Though, the other reason is that with the ongoing Distributed-Denial-of-Service attacks on RuneScape servers - fewer targets would mean more lag and disconnects, since they could bombard us much easier with fewer servers.

Is it really possible that only me would really love to see minigame hiscores??!! come on guys vouch for me...It's the thing that makes me wanna play minigames apart that I love playing them.

a minigame highscore system would make a whole lot more sense then the crap they're thinking to poll.

My 2 cents on the suggested updates for CW.


If you kill five or more players without dying, would you like to be buffed which will increase the damage you deal and make you more difficult to kill?

This could easily be abused :s So no :D

Should we add some siege weapons to help break down the doors of the keep?

Ropes work fine when it comes to getting past doors .

Finally, to make Castle Wars more accessible, we want to supply mages with runes if they don't want to bring their own, as well as offering more rewards for the best participants.

Should we allow players to obtain free runes within Castle Wars to cast magic at a reduced XP rate?

IMO it should be 5 random players that get free runes out of the whole team, because a full team of mages who know what they are doing defensively is OP


Should 10% of your kills be translated into tickets at the end of each game?

Again no, it would devalue gold cw armour, which at the moment is one of the rarest things to see in the game. It could also easily be abused and farmed.

Should you receive one ticket for each enemy flag that you deliver to your castle's standard stand?

Easily abused and farmed, so no :D
