IMO of course. To each their own. I would just like to see more of a friendly interaction throughout the community. And a strong effort within the game. Working hard to achieve XP, to get certain items, to make money. I feel like the GE would make things easier to obtain, would take away the challenge of certain aspects. That is all IMO though :p

im not trying to "strike a convo" with you. so your going to force me to by voting no on the g.e??

exactly, your pretty mcuh turn 25% of your playerbase against you. I voted no and I'm quitting if it passes. A game with GE in it is not something i like to play.

If anything 75% is too low. For something as radical as this, i would want somewhere around 85-90% support. All the minor updates are like whatever, it doesnt affect me in any way. But something as extreme as overhauling the entire way the economy is run and trading is done, i would want a alot of support before going through with it.

IMO the polling system used is bad. It's all about a mere 'yes' or 'no' whether something is going to be changed or not. There is no point giving feedback on forums cause in the end it's not the arguments that you give for or against that is going to determine the update outcome, it's the simple 'uhhh yes' or 'ehh no' instead. And yes, like you pointed out, the minority is indeed left out with this polling system. Feel free to take a look at my suggestions: 200m xp prestige

The grand exchange was released in 2007. Therefore I do not believe there is anything wrong with the implementation of the grand exchange. However, I do believe you could think of some alternatives for price manipulation****-programming the grand exchange would be a very tedious project. Just make sure you take your time Mod Ash and Mod Reach. Vote yes for grand exchange!

What you can achieve by discussing on the forums though, is highlighting for the mods that the issue in controversial. This allows them to re-evaluate their stances and draw conclusions on what is deemed an appropriate measure for an update

I think if people enjoy the old style of playing but still want the Grand Exchange, play legacy? If we get Grand Exchange, prices will start to fluctuate rapidly and we'll start to see the fall in prices we did on RS3.

Also quite a few people are saying the will cancel membership if G.E doesn't pass... Why start it in the first place if you only want it for G.E? In reality, if G.E makes it into the game, you may gain more players in OS. Most of whom will already be paying the membership and coming on over from RS3. However you will also lose a lot of people who pay good money to play this game the way they used to.

There is a good vibe to oldschool, the community is better, the trading scheme is already better than a Grand Exchange and you haven't even expanded the trading post yet. Unfortunately, I see Grand Exchange passing and it's going to ruin the game for so many of us. I loved the G.E when it came out on RS2, I really thought it was a fantastic idea. However coming to Oldschool, I really don't think it should be implemented into the game.

IF... Grand Exchange does come into Oldschool, I think there should be a few modifications to make it work better and to keep a larger player base happy. The Falador idea and so on is great, but I'm thinking about the way G.E actually works. I think if it comes in, we need it to look more like the trading post, with a list of peoples offers so you can pick and choose.

Just an idea too, maybe give the option of putting up buy offers as an expansion to the trading post. Then people can hop to you to sell items you there items too?
