BTW: Keep in mind, please poll it correctly

Please don't just go like "ok guys, 5 choices. make your choice!". Then every one would have between 15 and 27%. And you would just go like "well the grand exchange got the most votes at 27%.....That ain't 75%, so you're not getting it!" T_*

** will obviously be "do you want a fully functional GE?"

My ideas:

1. Bypass the 'Private Off' scenario. Players can still have their Private Off, but if someone is buying their items, they can whisper the seller despite their settings. Maybe whispering through the Trading Post starts the message with [Trading Post] or [Sale*.

This will stop the bot spam, but also allow people to buy stuff.

2. Allow the use to buy whatever amount you want to buy. I'm annoyed that if I want to buy only 2 x Ranaar Weed, the sellers won't sell to me because they can't be bothered to move from their location to a bank.

Whats the point off putting up sale, if you're not going to sell it?

3. Allow the trade window to be accessed anywhere, clicking trade will bring up the offer for the buyer to trade the seller, however, the trade offer will tell the seller what type of item they're buying.

For example: Fallen Moon wishes to buy 25x Oak Logs off you.

You click that, opens up the trade window, you can talk to the seller, do everything you can with the trading window now. Just able to trade through 2 banks in the game.

4. Being able to post buy offers on the Trading Post. The concept art has artwork of people posting buy offers, I thought it would be common sense to add that into the final release.

5. A mailbox.

Maybe add in offline buying, but for offers from people that are offline, you send mail to the offliner saying you wish to buy 25 x Oak Logs, or having the money in the mail saying that you bought what you bought. Adds a little more dimension to the system allowing people that don't play 12 hours a day to be able to sell stuff.

6. Last but not least, having a GE pricing system.

I know its a big system job, but having the game determine what price to post something may reduce the hardwork of researching prices people have their stuff up for for you just to decrease it by 5gp to get the best selling price.

These are just my 2 cents. I still feel like Zybez is a better selling platform for player interaction. Ty.

GE destroys any hopes of skilling being profitable. It removes players from all over the map and concentrates them in one place. It allows wealthy people/groups to easily manipulate prices. It allows botters to easily sell items like seeds in bulk, which destroys prices. And it makes the game easier, which is a big part of why RS3 is so bad.

All the mods/devs wanted to do was force a Grand exchange into OSRS. This already failed, you wasted 6 months of dev time now you want to force automatic trading and a grand exchange both of which failed polls.

Aside from a few tweaks that would make the CURRENT trading post easier to use I think the Trading Post is perfect as is. It completely has the old school feel and isn't too intrusive yet makes trading and finding items 1000x quicker and less tedious than before. Great job with the the post.

Please do not add any updates to it. It is great as is and would be hugely disappointing if it was tweaked or became the GE. The GE would completely change old school Runescape into something else. It would basically be just spitting on all the players who play for the feel of the old game.

NO GE!

learn what manipulation is before u use it please.

Manipulation is when you lie about a price.

Automated trading failed by a slight margin. I think once people now realize the TP didn't really make trading better at all, players will be more open for change.
