the trading post is perfectly fine the way it is, although the only thing i have an issue with and would find even worth changing is the ability to post up items with your private chat off.

i was perfectly content with just looking through banks and forum posts for things. but the trading post is to me a good update and it already has made the game so much more easier than it should be since it gives you the name, time and world there and then. the rest is spending a minute meet someone. it is pretty much perfectly in the middle.

to the people saying you need ge. go back to rs3. a ge shouldn't be introduced at all to cater to your inability to go spend a measly amount of time to meet another person. that games pointed you in the right direction. quit asking for someone to hold your hand there.

The reason people hate Rs3 is because of the graphics and the combat system. Literally everything else up to the day before EoC came out was pretty damn great. I'm glad that we're having a chance to finally move back towards the point right before this game completely fell apart.

Edit: Everything up to the day before EoC minus Squeal of fortune and all that other microtransaction crap.

also, trading through the trading post sounds horrible. Imagine having to always stare at the screen and be bombarded by trades constantly just to get stuff sold when there's a ridiculously easier solution that Jagex is willing to give us which is the GE

I'm actually up for the, "Trading Post" to be similar to the Grand Exchange with the whole auto-sell/buy, so when you put up an item to sell it'll sell automatically without you having to find the player and you'll receive the money automatically if it sells. Or when you want something, you'll automatically get the item you clicked to buy if it's up for sale. Because lets face it, I'm sick of people trying to scam me with the quick money/item swap or give me teleport tabs to fool me into giving them the items for some cheap stuff. It hasn't worked on me because I know better, but I'm sick of 90% of my trades being "attempted" scams. So I'm for this as long as the, "Trading Post" remains as it is, just only adding the who auto-sell/buy system.

Not even remotely true, the amount of people who play ironman and ultimate ironman is slim to none, making it fairly negligible**** however makes regular trading virtually obsolete for all players.

Your argument is invalid.
