If nothing can pass, then at least make it so you can send trades through the system although that does seem like a huge hassle would probably need to PM first then send a trade through the system (this is only a little helpful). I would prefer a GE, but an auction house style trading system would work for me too (automatic trading).

Also, if the seller's PM is set to friends it should take the listing off. The listings should only be active for those that are both online and have PM set to "ON".

Here is hoping GE wins, but I will also take automatic trading.

If you add the automatic trading into trading post, it would become just like GE. No point doing that so add GE BACK!!!

Wrong, it won't have the following:

- Offline trading
- Price guide
- Buy offers

Trading through the post is quite different.

I warned everyone that this would happen...

Everyone who wants "new content" will ruin OSRS. What is the point of it being "old school" if these new players want everything from RS3.

I do not want the GE in OSRS. While it is good for people who want to sell junk easily, it allows "merchants" to buy/sell thousands of items with no effort. They can make tons of money by clicking a couple things and then letting it sit. I know this because my brother used to easily make a million gp per day on RS2 (before EOC).

It looks like the polls are being flooded with kids who only started playing OSRS in the last year.
I DON'T WANT TO SEE RUNESCAPE DIE AGAIN!!!!

PS: There is a problem with price manipulation on the trading post. There are several players who will post the same item for a low price, but they do not respond (because they don't plan on really selling the item).

I must say i find this hilarious, the reason why OSRS is here is because people did not like how Rs3 was going. Now lots of people want Rs3 with a fixed interface and OSRS graphics.

Keep the trading post how it is. No I do not have a high total level in OSRS yet, but I've been playing this game since 2004 , I know the struggles of trading. I like the idea of the trading post, its an in-game forum. The only change i would make is that a persons offer will not show up if private chat is off and they are not in their friends chat.

Other then this leave it alone.

items that have low prices, like potato seeds and other seeds:

let players be able to
advertise
the prices in
tenths of a gp
because the prices for these items are low -around 1 gp-, and the
tenths of a gp
are significant at these price levels.

this is a function that the original grand exchange did not have, so i'm proposing it now
