Amazing improvement, everything looks great! This is one step closer to rangers/mages not getting completely steam rolled against anyone with melee! I'll be voting yes if all of these stay as they are in the dev blog.

The addition of the helm is also great

However im disappointed that you haven't learned about the venom, i hope it doesn't become mandatory to always have super anti or anti venom or whatever while pking

I'm a lot more positive about this boss, i would have voted it down but now im questioning it, but the venom/poison is just too big a worry

Still, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the first dev blog

In terms of making these poison items useful for slayers.

- Blowgun- useful only if you can safe spot and a waste if you dont use on a powerful monster. Would be amazing at metal dragons if it wasnt 2h.

-Staff- Same with Blowgun, not sure if staff of dead is 2h or not.

-Helm- Does it count against all attacks or just melee? Does it affect through protection prayers?

ALSO_ Combine Helm with our slayer helm ;) WINK WINK

The blowdart is far too powerful. A max hit of 32 and faster than a shortbow? It could make short work of any player especially pures in a few seconds. Also factoring in PID swaps it could decimate a player likely before they could manage to eat. It would be so powerful combined with that it degrades and would likely cost a lot means it would be mostly used for rushing players.

One thing I could suggest is there being some sort of extra effect if you use the toxic staff + smoke spell.

Interesting changes; but overall it seems much nicer. The Blowpipe seems very powerful and useful now; nice to finally see darts have a use over knives. The Fang seems a lot more useful now that it works on two staves and not just the one. I'm kinda glad to see the Spike removed; as much as I like the idea of a high level degrading defender it just didn't fit well. Making a Helm instead was an interesting choice, but it does seem more fitting than a weapon. Also, I love that the helm has an anti-poison effect like the old anti-poison totem and I expect this will see use in a lot of areas.
