Wow, I was actually planning on making a suggestion for a snake boss, but as a skilling boss that would take place in the desert.

I have ideas for a lot of other rewards. If it passes I'll have to suggest them. ^_^

I haven't seen this asked in the first few pages, so I feel I need to ask it. Sorry if it has already been asked/answered...

How will the venom interact with castle wars bandages? or things like the poison cure book thingy (forget name)? Thee offer no immunity like the respective potions do, but they do cure poison, so will it take 2 doses of them to cure, like the potions, or will they have no effect, etc?

Thanks. I see the Sot* upgrade mainly being used in minigames in conjunction with ice barrage, so this is something that does need to be considered.

Make the wieldables untradeble from the boss, but make the scales tradeble.

This would make for a nice balance, making the boss still profitable because you could sell the scales to people but also at the same time it wouldn't be a buyable weapon.

There's always been something special about items you work hard for to flaunt off
EX = Firecape , bgloves

i understand most people want a slayer req but honestly it shouldn't maybe have it to where your time killing the boss is easier with a higher slayer level giving people with decent stats and low slayer levels a chance at a "solo boss" because if it's a solo boss
currently none of the wildy bosses and gwd have slayer req and are soloable so why should this one be different.... just my opinion

go rework the dragon mace or add a dragon warhammer or something

Support all around. Make either the scales or the weapons untradable so only those that have tried at the boss may possess the items (preferably the first option so that defeating the boss just once or so isn't a total wash, then again that's where you want players to profit)

The Blowpipe is reviving darts (otherwise dead-content)

The Fang is giving incentive to use the Staff of the Dead for magic.

The Spike is an exact replica of the dragon defender, except it has a chance to poison and is also degradable and considerably difficult to get.

All of these said items are degradable, and only 1 of them outweighs current content. I doubt many lower-leveled people will grab that one for training, with it being degradable and they can't exactly kill the snake easily.

Also, as "A Friend" has stated, osrs has little to no high-end content. How do you make high-end content desirable without being OP? I think Jagex answered that question very nicely with this dev blog. I'll agree that this whole poison thing is a little over the top though.. needs to be addressed.

yeah, i gotta say, this poison/venom thing is just going to wind up being really annoying in pvp. Most people cbf bringing antipoison pking. Not to mention it's just going to be one more costly potion you have to break your bank on in order to go pking. As if prayer pots, brews, and sup restores weren't already enough. Let's find a way to make pking profitable. The potions/food are already worth more than the loot you get.
